Any time I go to a Camille gig I always bring someone who's never seen her before. To be honest at this point I watch them as much as I watch her, just to try to recapture a bit of how I felt that first time I ever saw her live. Haunting, hilarious, and an absolute master of her craft.
I'd never heard of Camille until last Friday when I saw her at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. But my word she has had an impact. So much so that I went back to see her again last night, and will probably go and see her several more times before I leave Edinburgh! What talent. And what a genuine lass as well.

This is so deeply and ineffably moving. My now fiancée and I saw Camille and had a chat with her after her concert in the Sugar Club in Dublin in 2004/2005. That night, that venue and Camille have remained close to our hearts ever since. She has such an amazing grace about her presence, a gentleness and an elegance which is captured so magnificently here. This video is a wonderful surprise. Thank you to the person who passed this on to us.

i saw her at the london feis this year! we walked away from THIN LIZZY and heard this crazy woman singing- we walked into her tent and stood at the back just out of pure amazement on how much enthusiasm she had and craziness - we wernt to keen on the song.... but we stayed and im SO GLAD! she sang her next song "hurt" cover and i cried because her passion was just too much! the songs that followed were equally as amazing! BRING ON TOM WAITS AND HER AT THE BARBICAN

Never tire of seeing Camille at Edinburgh festival
I've seen Camille perform this song at the labadoux folk festival @ Ingelmunster Flanders Belgium last night. It really gave me goose bumps. She is such a great performer and she really had the audiance enthralled. Way to to go Camille, burn all those bridge down!!!. Give us more of those of those Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Jacques Brel songs. Check out het performance of Marieke(Jacques Brel) too, just sublime. Love Eddy from Belgium

In 2010 I got strained in Tokyo - so I had a lot of time on my hand. It was the first I ran into the vids of Camille. Her stage performance I included in a song called "Seven" (2nd part of the lyrics) to express my admiration. Seven days I was stuck in Tokyo due to an Iceland Volcano. Salmo
