Even though I am going for a pharmacist in a few years, this still is really informative and interesting. My whole family consists of doctors and pharmacists so I find these themes very fascinating, thanks!

I just passed the NREMT today on my first try and there was a question on this. I watched this video last night and the question asked what hand technique would you use on a 6 month old patient. Thank you for your videos they were very helpful when I took the test!

Just finished my first week of Emt rookie school and BLS was the first thing we covered, all the information provided in this video matches what we learned.

For adults if it was a partial obstruction you encourage them to cough right? And if it turns to full obstruction you preform the Heimlich maneuver until the obstruction is cleared or till they pass out then you would contact Als and start cpr.

yes partial encourage them to cough. think of it like if they have the physical aability to throw air the they can cough and hopefully the air catches whatever is stuck. full obstruction in peds is 5 back blows along with chest thrusts until unresponsive then you start cpr.

Do yall recommend buying the course for $97 and study guide bundle for $27 or just watch his youtube videos?

I think it depends on how in depth you want to study. I plan to buy his course once I get my finances together. The course also provides a supportive community and seems legit based on numerous student testimonials. From all EMT/Paramedic You Tubers, I feel Evan is most effective in explaining, preparing, and reviewing subjects for students.
