I would describe this as slick and elegant futuristic casual clothes. Hate the long fringes, love the short ones on the lower parts of pants and dresses
I just started messing with this brand; I remember Usher Raymond carrying it back in the 2000's but I was still chasing the obvious luxury (LV, Gucci, Burberry) I bought my first bag last year (1 in 5 in all of China). I have since bought accessories. Not many people mess with bottega...that is why I started with it. It is exclusive. Recently, it has been Bottega and Loewe...China introduced me to these brands. It was Goyard...but too many people carry Goyard now.
Stop..........stop lighting your runways like an amateur......Especially for the fall/winter shows, I have seen too many houses not having a good lighting director...When you are featuring deeper/darker/blacks/and especially velvets..you need more light to SHOW what you are presenting! Velvet in deep colors and esp blacks.........dont show details on the runway if they are not lit properly. Get it together all you houses.....get yourself a great production and lighting designer for each season..High end houses dont need customers to tell them how to present their goods well...just do it!

Robert, I am your biggest fan for saying this. Watching the "show", I was thinking, "Do they really think I can see the details of these designs?" For all I know, Mr. Lee could have been using scraps on those designs. Additionally, what's up with all of the black? It came across, to me, as somber. Finally, if you have to be schooled about production teams and their value to your design house, that verifies a novice status to me.

The beaded dresses just make think in Phoebe Philo for Celine, but this neon colors give new vibes, definitevely. In other hand, the light of the scenes is very poor, and there are many pieces that is difficult to see each detail (It happened too with Balenciaga AW 20 show) so i think they should fix that.
Love the large hobo bags and the long fringe, but especially love the black lace that looks like acrobats or dancers. I'd love some of that yardage! (And, yes, turn up the lights.)
A few too many "I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing..." moments. The lighting made everyone feel like they spent the afternoon in a bar when they went outside.

Gorgeous. Love the 70s meets 2000 matrix silhouettes. Not a fan of the long fringing on the coats and bags, I don’t see it being so timeless. The raised clogs were interesting, big fan of the sequin pants, loved the way they were styled would definitely be looking at investing in a pair. The black chunky chain low-collared dress did it for me. Looks cosy and easy to throw on no extra accessorising needed. Also so we’re still doing the kurt cobain clout goggles then?
Some stunning pieces...color and fabrics lush...a simple neckline with gold chain trimmed--too dark to see those black and midnight blues--casual shoes with some of those gorgeous gowns is too cheeky?? Wrong music but a nice backdrop concept. Best in the line! TY

I literally couldn't see any piece out of this collection but the highlight neon shirt sticking out of what looked like a very pretty black hole walking towards the camera.
#DamianLewdRewviews Despite the backdrop I get an immediate equestrian vibe that quickly goes 70’s then full on with the green dress. I like the introduction of the punch of chartreuse then splashes to the black. The nude accessory mimicked by the black sheer/ lace. Then the punch of pink (Thought I didn’t care for the pink piece) followed by more color. Great way to do a classic runway show. I wish the lighting was stronger to feature the details on the all black pieces. Never been a fan of the butterfly collar. While I didn’t enjoy every piece I did enjoy the show and the evolution of design references and tailoring to modern shapes and styling. 8:00 great Turtle neck dress. (Didn’t care for it in the lipstick red) There were plenty of wonderful coats. I wouldn’t say the Menswear was inspired but left little be desired. Wish there were less cuts to the strings players as looks were cut out by them and the ridiculous long shots just show the clothes please. 7/10
I am not sure if the hype about Bottega Veneta is manufactured by the press. I liked his previous show. Of course, seeing all these clothes on the video is different from trying in store so of course I went in person to try on the items. I would have to say quality is not remarkable, fit is not the best either. For example, I ordered a cashmere knit sweater camel color. Looks good on picture. However, the knit ended up being medicore and unsure. Not as soft as a Rick Owens cashmere knit, but not as solid as a Loewe knit. Reminds me of the same situation as Burberry. Enjoy watching the shows but the clothes are a different story. I would say my current brands I spend money on are Sacai, Loewe, Acne, Lemaire

Ugly and creative dresses can be nice in a London brand, but people expect beautiful and extremely elegant dresses from an Italian brand.
Beautiful is subjective but technic isn't. Unfortunately, this collection lacks both, mainly due to the poor lighting
