Good and helpful information. Think I'm going to go with the C's for the swr tolerance. Now to decide between 4 or 6 in my Chrysler Aspen with my Lincoln 2+....
Sitting here thinking that's a big plus in any of us, just to be honest I can appreciate that. Edit: the part about the stock electrical system, that's a great point, to me.
Great video! Can you tell me the ohms of the resistors behind the transformers and the capacitors on the transformers? I've never built an amp and have a project that I am working on.
I say 50 watts carrier per transistor for the regular hg 2879 and 75 watts carrier per transistor for the hg 2879c. You can see in all my videos, that I have a carrier and forward swing. A lot of these guys just show the swing and no carrier, but I’m not worried about carrier with my amps. I use plenty of heatsink and quality fans, not $1.99 eBay fans. Lol

That's great news, I just ordered a 4 pill yesterday, nice video Nate !
Nate is the most honest amp builder on the planet.

I would like to know how the HG C pills with 15. 5 voltage compared to the Toshiba 2879

How many watt dead key should the 2879c’s be at per pill? I have heard 25 and 50. Should a 4 pill be at a 200 watt dead key or 100 watts?

💯
Can a 2 driving 12 2879s be ran at 12v? A guy just stacked 5 88 amp supplies for me but they are 12v.
Yes it would work from 12v to 15v.
