    Let me just say: the amount of content in this pack is INSANE considering the price point. I've seen animation packs alone more expensive than this. Considering how long + finicky it can be to create this entire system from scratch - from AI to hit detection - this is a steal. Thank you so much for all the time that went into this!

      Yeah but there are a lot of rough transitions on the animations (crouch walk snapping for instance). Isn't it hard to improve those with these big asset packs unless you build it yourself and know what is going on?

      @@iansmith3301 if you know how to, export the rig into blender and animate your own blend space sequences. It's time consuming that's all. You just want more blend spaces between animations with cleaner loops

      At the moment it's just a leveling up system so players can integrate their own uses for leveling up :)

    I love this content, I hope there be tutorials how to change the mannequins to your custom characters. I’m not good at blueprints and want to put my custom characters and enemies. Please make a tutorial for this asset

      Don't worry my friend I am just in the process of creating this tutorial. We go over each feature and how to add new combat styles and change the character mesh :)

      Hey amigo! So yeah my to do list right now... create a tutorial for the marketplace asset explaining all the features and then publish it (so excited). Then I need to finish off my 30 topic tutorial series (currently topic 20 out of 30) and then... when I've finished that I can produce tutorials covering some of the aspects in the asset pack for people who didn't want to purchase it :)

    Really keen on this kit, has some great features. I am however trying to find a kit to prototype a simple rpg game for me and my young son to play together, so I am wondering how far away on your roadmap network replication is?

      That's so awesome wiglord :) I'll be completely honest multiplayer is still quite some time away unfortunately. It's one of those things which I will 100% do but at the moment I've got heaps to do before it. For example ive got an Inventory system, bows and arrows and magic to be added beforehand!     Looks like a lot of content for the asking price! How easily do you think this could be integrated with Advanced Locomotion System v4?

      Haha thank you It took me quite a while to decide a price as I wanted to make it as affordable as possible while giving everyone as much as I could. I'm glad you think it's reasonable :)! As for the locomotion unfortunately I haven't investigated the locomotion asset very deeply so im not entirely sure but I dont see why not. I could imagine it would be possible to simply blend the weapon animations and slot animations in with the locomotion, It's something I could look into sorting for the future but for now I'd say it's very possible but I'd have to look into it to get a full understanding of how the locomotion asset works 😊 hope thos helps sorry for the essay!

    I was wondering what if I crouch to an enemy from behind and sit just 2cm from him and not kill him- will the AI still see me? Would be realistic if he still sees me if I’m too close (even when I’m not making noise) I mean can it be customised ?

      @@Beardgames I have the “Melee” package. I want to add a prompt after a successful parry, allowing the player to execute a skill after pressing the appropriate selection. Hopefully I made that clear lol it makes perfect sense in my head

    Hey man, your video's have helped me a lot and I want to support you by getting this asset. Had one quick question beforehand.. is this combat system compatible with multiple enemies or would I need to use blueprints to give enemies some kind of priority so they won't attack 1 by 1 or all at once?

    Idk how often you get this question, as well as it may be a stupid question, but how compatible is a ranged combat system (i.e. guns, bows, etc.), and if compatible, how difficult would it be to impliment such a thing?

      Not a stupid question at all my friend! So I'm actually in production of a ranged add-on for the asset as we speak, should have it finished in a few weeks. In terms of how easy it was, super easy to add onto the system, the hard part for me is doing all the maths for the bow and arrow trajectory haha. But to answer your question, adding ranged and gun attacks onto the system in no problem :)

      Shouldn't be a problem my friend! All the functionality will work just fine, you'd just need to swap over camera angles as far as I'm aware :)

    i love this asset, can you make a tutorial about animating weapons like a gun's barrel or a a safety button?

      So I've actually already made a video on Animating in Blender (although it's a character not a gun), but to create the weapon animation it should work exactly the same! In terms of the Unreal Engine side I could definitely look into this, maybe go over something similar when I look to implement ranged attacks into the Asset :) Thanks Caltrop!

    Hi! I'm considering buying this, but after trying out the demo, I found the attacks do not really connect with the keypresses. Would it be difficult after I implement this, to increase the animation speed and make animation interrupts to get a more connecting, responsive combat? Thanks!

      Good question amigo :) so the weapon hitboxes can be configured with the click of a button. Each weapon is designed so the hitbox is created between two scene points. So you can just move these accordingly to adjust how accurate you want the hits to be. Most games make the hitboxes slightly bigger so players don't get annoyed their hits aren't connecting😁 As for weapon animation time again, completely configurable. Can change the animation speeds as you want by changing the playback speed in each animation. You can also change how fast the attack animations fire off from each other. If you want the animations to fire off faster or slower you simply have to adjust the anim notify inside each weapon attack, I can help you with this via discord if you run into any issues 😊 let me know of you have anymore questions my friend
