In defense of the Warriors, they were 46-36. 2 more wins than last year and would be good enough for the #4 seed that season. The West was just brutal this year.
Warriors blew multiple 15+ leads this season, injuries/suspensions and took a while to get the rotations right. Dubs could of easily been top 5.
This - people clowning LBJ and Steph for being in the play-in tournament, but the West is crazy. 7-10 seeds in the west are only AT MOST 4 games back of the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference. Pelicans were actually only 1 game back relative to the #2 Knicks.
And that’s with the Knicks playing more of their games in the weaker Eastern conference.
Zion played 70 games for that incentive in his contract 😂

Russell’s celtics?…..He was the 4th highest scorer and their best rebounder in a 8 team NBA. They were 1st in the east with 44 wins. Eventually somebody has to start telling the truth about that era of basketball and leave it on an island so it can be in its proper space. Better to avoid the Nuggets if possible, and both the Suns and Wolves have played the Nuggs pretty well.
