Hi Dan. I like your video. I am an artist. Started playing rhythm guitar. Learn all chords, did 2500 songs with you tube for one month. Now I can open any songs with chords and playing rhythm guitar when i need some rest from painting. Now I got bass guitar. Watched a lot of videos and at the moment play bass with the same songs and chords for my rhythm guitar - like G - D - F chords using GD - DG - FD.....patten . on bass guitar. I dont want to learn more, I need more time for painting. I am painting and listen music and when I like some, get a guitar, bass or rhythm, open videos and have fun. But sometime I feel, I need some easy patten to add to what i am doing, just to abstract the rhythm, not the same.., just some different jump for a second, thinking only about chords, not about major manor bass or some beautiful bass some artist created. Thanks
Excellent work Dan. As a pop/soul guy who learned Giant Steps many years ago but was always too chicken to play it live at full tempo for fear of stuffing it up, this is great approach

My biggest issue is i just canT read music. I rely on tab.. which is a huge shortcoming.
Don’t worry. It’s a relatively easy skill to pickup. It just takes a bit of time and dedication.
