I can’t remember ever feeling more helpless than when I was putting this together. They couldn’t have made this worse if they tried. Also what is a flange? Literally in step 3 it says slide flange over base. Shouldn’t need to look things up when you’re using instructions. MY LORD RANT OVER

@@kaisasefi3379 every piece looks the exact same but fits differently. Wish I could explain how I did it but I couldn’t put it together right now for $100k. There was at least 10 times where I thought I had it and something just collapsed
Sir , it's 2024 and after several attempts to Assemble same brand but different bottom , I 3hrs later found your TH-cam. God bless you and your wife saving me having to return the fan but feeling more defeated. Yeah 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 I got it and you made it so easy. I had not taken the rubber disc on the shaft where you put the fan . Now all is well and cooling off. I'm a widow and miss the help of my Husband who would have gladly put it together. 😊 Now I am a new Subscriber and grateful . Stay blessed and well. 🦋🦋🦋 Ohio

Hey! Future Fan assemblers. If your Chrome tube is stuck inside the black tube. Use one of the legs on the quad stand, stick it inside the Bottom of the black tube and PUSH hard (be careful) the Chrome tube will pop out. You're Welcome. Love You ❤️

in case anyone else has my problem - I struggled to get the plastic backing to clip around the metal front because the fit was so tight. in the end how I solved this was to set the fan face-down on the floor and force the plastic clip over the last stubborn part of the metal. thanks gravity

Thanks so much... I purchased the fan from FD and it was missing many parts and the parts in it didn't fit. I took it back. they replaced it, but this time I noticed it was label on stating return policy, meaning the previous one was returned. Be though as it may. Your youtube helped 1000%. Thanks Again.

Finally with your help got it figured out and then the screw wouldn't tighten at the top! There's nothing for it do go into 🙄

Thanks for helping me! I tried to put it together a few days ago and couldn’t so I set it aside till I could figure it out and was lucky to find your video. I was stuck on tightening the bottom collar to support the pole. I knew the pole shouldn’t just sit in there but no where in the instructions did it mention that darn collar to tighten. lol.

I don’t know which is worse. Your instructions or the so called instructions in the box. I’m pretty handy and I still couldn’t figure out the assembly. It would have been helpful if the manufacturer had labeled each part in their instructions. My patience is limited in 90 degree heat. This one is going back to Target
How does a timer work on these 16-in oscillating stand up fans
Bought one and there is a brown “1/4” collar on chrome bar end that fits into control piece. Tried turning chrome piece upside down but then will not be able to tighten Brown screws piece
How do you disconnect the safety shield on the fan for cleaning?
i was so confused what was wrong with mine i realize mine has the piece with the metal tube in it missing

I'm trying to put this together for weeks. Everything's together but the thumbscrew when I put the top on the rod and put the thumb screw in it just turns turns and turns and turns the only way it tighten is if you pull the top off Chrome pole. Of course then the thumbscrew is in there and you can't put the top
How in the world do you get the OUTER cap to come off?

I had to turn the plastic "screw" on the pole, then the pole slides right out, hope this helps.

Gonna leave this here for anyone in the future: to get the pole out, I slid one of the Quad-Pod's legs up the hole on the base of the main pole, and it pushed the extension pole out the top. Hope this helps anyone who reads this in the future!

How did you get the metal pole in? The video cuts to it already in. Mine comes separate, and has a piece of non removable black plastic at one end.

I just put one together today! I was frustrated as one of the legs was put on upside down at the manufacturer, then, there is this small black cap that came out of the box, I find nothing it goes to, it's open on both ends, about 1/2 long, has 4 slots in it, wasn't shown in this video either. The video was some helpful, I felt the instruction sheet that came with the fan, could've been larger print, pics. I was sweating and it took longer than should've for no more parts to it. Trying to get the grey cap off the metal bar, I used an old thick rag with pliers and goes opposite way normal things unscrew. I expected more from the Comfort Zone brand!!!
K S, look at this video at 0:37.. the silver part of stand... near his hand... do you see the little black ring there? that's probably the cap you're talking about.. lol it slides down into the stand.

When I connect the fan part to the pole it doesn’t stay.. it just comes right back off even after I tighten it and when I tightened it, it bent the pole. I need help and suggestions

Been at this for 1.5 hours. Can't figure it out. Going to return it. No idea how to loosen collar nut or pull chrome extension. My hand is sore. Very annoyed
