Thank you for this series. I teach a high school drone and rc class, students get a certification for the curriculum and the 2nd semester starts next week so I was looking for a project they could build and fly. This will be a perfect fit for the class. We will all subscribe and like this video. We also have a Bambi pl1A 3d printer so it really ties it all together. Thanks again
Thank you, I did enjoy it. I've been printing my tires with PLA, so thanks for the tip using TPU! Thanks again David, well done, look forward to your next video.
Amazing. I looking for something to learn fly and move from drones, and I found it. Im going to order missing parts and start to build it. Keep up the good work!
Awesome build video! I have an old GWS Slow Stick hanging in my garage, and was just talking with friends about how easy it was to fly. Thank you for taking the time to put out the design and showing how to build it!
Got the Files, super excited to start building. One suggestion, not even sure if its possible or easy, you could put all the files for just this plane in one folder so it a bit easier to sort through.
Great build video! Thanks again for the design. I just made a single arrow shaft mini version to go along with this one and the biplane one. I needed something to fly indoors this winter. I print out of ASA and parts are light and tough. I have had a couple crashes and it holds up remarkably well.
Thanks for the offer for help. I personally have an eflite slow ultra stick-and the landing gear is not great so I am printing from your files the wheels and tires. I may want to reach out about electronics in the near future. We fly fpv DJI drones and also Rotor Riot racing drones using fat shark goggles. The electronics with Telementry and GPS is my weak link Thanks
Great video! i need to get a 3d printer , what kind are you using? also what program do you use to edit files to customize the 3d prints ,thank you! 👍👍
Thanks! I am using a Prusa MK3S and love it. There are a lot of printers out there that are quite good. I am using Prusa slicer to prepare the print. Most of my parts were designed in Tinkercad.
I am using a Radiomaster TX16S for control -- and the receiver is an old FrSky D8 I had laying around. I typically use TBS Crossfire, but this is just for line of site flying for now. As for a Flight Controller, I am not using one here or on any of my Slow Sticks. Just the pure joy of flight. :)
Sorry, I do not sell the parts. There are printing services that you can order through but not sure how well that would work for this. 3D printing is a fun hobby and not that expensive to get into.
@@mikewofford2198 Mike, thanks! I have had a few printers. I am currently using the Prusa MK3S and love it -- been solid for me. There are a lot out there that are very cheap and it is a fun hobby!
@@mikewofford2198 Hi Mike, there is a link in the description of the video where you can download the STL files from Printables.com -- that goes to help me out. Thanks for the support!

Excellent design and build ! I so love it ! ❤😉🙃😎 NZ
Thanks for the video, was nice to see how the rear wheel goes on. Just waiting for my front landing gear to come in and I'll be off to the sky's!
Awesome, I would love to see all the builds. Post photos on printables if you can. Thanks!

Really cool! Ben showed up today with a half size version (250g mini) today. That video will be up next Saturday. Flying the mini version is amazing!
@Qromer that's awesome, anxious to see it. Mine came in at 242g with 500mah 2s battery.
@@PolarisPilot I'm at 247g with twin cf tubes running a 650mah 2S battery. No FPV. Tail wheel still there -- but without steering. Very fun to fly!
Excellent design and instructions, I just bookmarked this page, subscribed as well.
Majestic detail video, thanks 🙏
this is one of the best and my favorite airplane
Thanks! It is one of my favorites too.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I am in the area would love to meet you, where do you fly from?
LOVE THE VIDEO, THANKS FOR THE DETAILS. Where do you get the landing gear and wheel collars ??
Thanks, the links are on the printables listing.
David, great videos. I may have missed the wing specs on the wing build video. How many mm is the wing size?
Thanks Mike. It has a 1176 mm (46.3 in) span. The PDF file is the actual size. I hope that helps.

@@Qromer so can I print them parts in any other printer??
@@nucleo1772 Yes, you can take the STL files and prepare them on any printer.

There might be a local flyer that would build and sell one. Sorry, I don't have one to sell.
