You got to try to build your one on one relationship with your family member but just be careful so you don’t end up alone. Not saying you are alone but that’s what ends up happening. No matter how much you tell them it’s not they feel like what they do is okay because people are either to afraid to speak up or they don’t care or they don’t want to get involved. Yes I had to cut contact with the whole family, everyone who is connected to my narc stepmother and enabling father...and the family never cared for my view of the story and just abandoned me after I finally got the clarity and tried to speak up...truely cruel the whole thing, glad I made it out alive...still dealing with all the after effects and depressive episodes, but better than staying there, I look for help and safe connections now
This kind of evil is the worst. And they hate that you dont need them and every day this is an increasingly realisation that you are forced to accept. When you're a target for ppl, family, blood or not, that are unredeemable then you have no choice but to 'burn the bridge up'. These ppl will take your life simply for their vile state of being.
