Samsonite Silhouette 17 Luggage Review | The Best Carry-On and Checked Bag

Are you a frequent traveler? Ever since pandemic related travel restrictions were lifted, I feel like I'm flying at least once a quarter! I love exploring new cities, countries, cultures and food! To be able to run around airports and hop onto trains with ease, good luggage is a must. When I began hunting for new travel gear, the top things on my checklist were to find things that were: durability, reliability, convenience and spaciousness.
The Samsonite Silhouette 17 Carry-On fulfilled all of my criteria and then some. As someone who travels for work quite often, I wanted to be able to reach for my laptop with ease. I didn't want to put my laptop in my tote through the airport because that can get quite heavy. The Carry-On has a laptop sleeve built right in so it can store your laptop and important documents! It's easy to access and doesn't take away from space in your luggage.

Have you ever had trouble with the carry on sizing? The dimensions online exceed many of the airline size limits and I wasn’t sure if you’ve ever run into that

I was a little wary at first too however, during during all of my domestic flights with United and American Airlines, I didn't run into any trouble. When I travel internationally, I fly with various airlines and find that most of them don't care. The ONE TIME that it was a problem was with Austrian Airlines (Vienna to Paris) since they made me place the carry-on into the metal dimension measurement at the gate.
