The partiers left quickly, yes, but when they saw who was playing the music, they left quicker. Gotta love when your parents have a demented mind. :D \m/

It's funny because this song seems to actually have more of a positive message than anything else, I don't get where all of the bullshit comes from. Granted, I haven't listened to much of his other work, but still, if any of it is like this in terms of clever lyrics, then it's the typical case of people simply not listening and jumping to conclusions. Alkaline Trio's lyrics work the same way, they sound all cheery and have a great rhythm that just makes you go like 'hey yeah I can get behind this' and then you realize it's about drowning or heavy drinking problems or suicide and the entire message and feel of the song changes.
