Tobias...I am learning this piece, so I've listened to many renderings. Yours is magnificent. I love your sense of timing, expression, and depth. Your playing is so clean and lovely. I'm about half way through memorizing. Once I finish memorizing it, I'll then begin to learn how to play it! I have saved your video to inspire me. Thanks!

I just watched my old video from 2009 and noticed how different our interpretations are. I won, I only need half the time. Joke! 😄
You've mastered the art of slow play. Very melancholic, very poetic. If I were to record the piece again today, it could sound similar to yours.

Dear Tobias, what a nice start on this day! As you say, simple is often the most beautiful... and Maria's piece(s) are always beautiful. Sometimes it frustrates me that if a piece is long and complicated, it _must_ be good!? IMHO fewer notes makes it, the music, incredibly transparent and often more difficult to play well.
We can all move our fingers fast and swift if we practise long enough but not all! can learn to play beautifully! You can! 🙂

Really lovely playing, Tobias! I have heard several of Linnemann's works, but I have never played any of them. This was so beautiful and makes me want to try it too. Your tone colors and phrasing really make this special.

Thank you very much! Glad you liked it! I use Savarez Corum. (Alliance). They are a bit expensive but really powerfull, bright and clear sound.
