Addiction is a sickness that needs to be dealt with one day at a time...and it is a lifelong journey...God does not remove addictions...you need to make the choice to give up your addiction and pray to God to help you to .overcome it daily... Remember it is not by anything we can do it is only by what Jesus did on the cross. If you think you can get to heaven by your works or good deeds, you can not. If we could have done it we wouldn't have needed Jesus' atoning blood to cover our sins. Jesus' Grace is sufficient for us. And it covers everyone of our sins from the beginning to the end. All you have to do is ask Jesus Into your heart, thank him for his mercy and Grace and get to know him as if he were the live of your life. Because that what he becomes, the love of your life. You will invest in what you worship. Just like a person that adores sports and always has those season tickets, and are at games in the good weather or bad rooting for the team they love. It's supposed to be even more than this type of Love for Jesus. Don't wait till your old to get a relationship with Christ. You never know when your last breath might be.
