Hey Metal Blade Records, can't you upload a higher definition version of the video? The original recording must have been at least 576i, so can't you also put up a 480p or 720p video? This song and video deserves better than 240p! Thanks.
It surely was but this was uploaded in 2007 so that was about the best quality you could upload at the time.

Thorin Oakenshield What I meant is that Metal Blade must have the master video somewhere in storage. Now that 240p looks so ancient on TH-cam (and this vid isn't even full screen 240p!), Metal Blade should upload a higher def version with a "Click here for HD version" annotation as we see on other classic videos. This is a seriously good video, a lot of work went into it and it deserves to be seen in better quality.

Jake Gordy Seriously, it is not! 240p was a highly compressed, low-res digital video format for the early days of TH-cam & the internet. Both Death Metal and Black Metal (Amon Amarth are Death Metal) were around long before the days of TH-cam. Videos for Black and Death metal were made with analogue video equipment in 576i (European PAL resolution).

The reason why this is one of my favorite songs is that when hes saying "charge your horses across the fields" and such. the flow of the song makes you feel like you're part of a mass charge of horses.. and you can feel the adrenaline pumping like hell man imaging it and all. I'm not obsessive of those sorts of things, but fuck me it would be an experience.

The first time I heard this I was playing the Ghost Rider video game (PS2) Im a nintendo/Xbox fan, but whatever. So I decided to take a walk to a beautiful park, and I was walking up a hill and Crying to this song on my phone, then I turned around on the hill that day and saw the most beautiful sunset, that I won't ever get to see again. It was the most memorable song from Amon Armath.

These guys are amazing. I have had only one CD in my truck the last year (jomsviking) and I constantly listen to them on my phone through the other albums I have bought. I love that they make a lot of their lyrics from the Eddas and other legends. The music in itself I can either go to sleep to it or go do high intensity training to it. Also watching their interviews makes me like the band even more. Amon Amarth fucking rocks.

I'll never forget when this first came out. I was 15 years old and watching this music video on fuse cuz of all the hype I had heard about this band and their album online. My dad walks by during their head banging in unison and says "hey it's the whirly birds" about as casual as he could and I burst out laughing and could never listen to this song again without thinking of that.

Genres help you to find music that fits you. And it is much easier to have an idea about their music even before listening it once. Since there is shit ton of metal our there, it is important. Btw Amon Amarth is pure Melodic Death Metal. This comment should be in bands like Cattle Decap or sth which are hard to tell the main genre.

I got to see them this past Friday and it was awesome. I had to jump into the pits for this and Guardians of Asgard. I can safely say that I can happily retire from active moshing after having done so to those two songs.
