My brother and I go on the hunt of an elusive February Springer on the River Dee in Scotland. This early Spring Salmon fishing is hard going at times but the prize is worth it.

Thanks Mike, will hopefully see you soon although my mrs is expecting so fishing may suffer, haha. Al will be up in April of course. Tight lines if you're getting out trying for the rivers first fish of the season.

Thanks Gavin, I was using an Airflo rage with a 7IPS 10 foot tip and on my other rod in the video, a Rio 3D hover/intermediate/sink 3 with a 5 foot 7IPS tip. Both were with 4 feet of 15lb tippet and copper tubes, generally 1 - 1 1/2 inch.

I watched your video again and realised you were fishing the garden pool,that was the morning you beat me too it😂I was fishing the opposite bank,I spent to long drinking tea in the Commonty hut,by the time I got to the garden pool you had just started
I did see one of you guys land your kelt
