This song shows off Ed's full range of talent. And to those people saying he has changed check out "You Need Me, I Don't Need You"...he has ALWAYS been able to perform in multiple styles.
The fact that he always switched it up was what attracted me to his music in the first place...anyone who would say that probably only like lego house and A Team....guaranteed they never heard anything off of "loose change"
Ed Sheeran to be know he did two years of promotion around the world and then he did the soundtrack for The Hobbit - the desolation of Smaug (I see fire). He worked hard and the result is great. He's very nice.
If I've said it once, I've said it a million. All these people "where is the old Ed..." Blah blah blah. It's a new album, it's gonna sound different. It's still Ed singing and rapping to a funky guitar riff, sounds about right to me. Not all of his songs are slow ballads. This album isn't going to sound exactly like "+". Just because this single doesn't sound the same as "+" doesn't mean it's bad or not his style. Change is not bad. A lot of his older stuff is like this, and I don't think Ed would put a song on his album if he didn't feel that it was representative of him or what he wants his image to be.
If you just drop your preconceived ideas of what an artist SHOULD sound like, and listen to this song and how well Ed executes it, you'll realize it's a great track. Embrace the R&B soul, people.

Just because this single doesn't sound the same as "+" doesn't mean it's bad or not his style. Change is not bad. A lot of his older stuff is like this, and I don't think Ed would put a song on his album if he didn't feel that it was representative of him or what he wants his image to be.
