Review of Standing Orders 2023

Standing Orders are Parliament’s rules for the procedures in the House and select committees. They are reviewed in the final year of each Parliamentary term, with changes implemented in the following term.
The Standing Orders Committee released its final report with recommendations for the Standing Orders on Wednesday. Some of the committee’s proposals and recommendations include greater select committee scrutiny
