One more tip I would like to add is, " Get to know your store clerk". Don't be hesitant to ask if someone recently bought a big winner from a ticket you want to purchase. Or take a peek in the trash for multiple losing tickets. A clerk told me, someone lost on 6 straight Winner's Circle tickets and left the last one behind. Clerk suggested I buy it. It was a $1000 winner!!

I just hit $500 on a $20 ticket after watching this video a few hours ago! My biggest win ever AGAIN THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS!!! question though, would it be wise to buy the same ticket but at a different store/location?
I used to win a lot in PA on scratch-offs. No grand prizes, but between 25 and 100 at least 3-4 times a week. Play the ten and twenty dollar tickets they seem to hit the most.
TX gives a lot more information than some other states, which I'm jealous of. I think it's also important to know what the overall payout of a ticket is. There are also tickets where the prize structure suits different types of players: high risk (where more money is allocated to the top prizes) and lower risk (where more money is allocated to the lower and mid tier prizes). I think states hide those figures from players so that we will play in ignorance (which allows the state to offer tickets with lower and lower payouts). I'm a GA player, and I take the limited information they give us, break down the numbers, and post videos so that folks can play smart and pick tickets that are right for their style of play.
@@jurguy1982 It is but you would have more money than you think over the long term if you saved it and were careful with your money...I used to be a person who did stupid shit with my money. Matt, I'm going to add a couple of items to your info (very accurate and well-presented, by the way)... 1. In most states, you can mail, or take, winners of ANY amount to a lottery claim center for payment. If you mail the tickets for payment, allow approximately 2 weeks for processing and shipment of your check. (You can also use this method if you buy tickets while traveling through another state -- allow 3 weeks for processing and shipment.) 2. Some states (like my Colorado) will allow you to redeem smaller winning tickets (e.g. $50 or under) through lottery vending machines -- however, you can only use that money to purchase additional lottery tickets; no cash back is given. 3. You did not discuss the subject of second-chance drawings. A game's second-chance drawing(s) could provide enough value to make it a better play than another game with similar or marginally better analytics. Of course, this requires even more mathematical analysis of the value of the prize(s) being offered in the drawing(s); i.e. computing the "expected value" of the second-chance prize(s) and adding it to the "guaranteed/expected value" of a ticket in the game, then comparing as normal. The bottom line is a second-chance drawing can add a reason to play one game over another. Still, this video should be required viewing for any scratch ticket player anywhere. Well done.

Thanks for the great tips. I now ask the clerk what number ticket is on the roll. I have won so much more money now playing tickets that are on a new pack. Example : I asked the clerk on a $10 ticket which number it was on and she said 1. I asked her for the next ticket, it was 2. So obviously it was starting from the beginning of the pack. Bought 10 cards, 3rd card in I hit it for $100 followed by 60 and 20. Easy $80 profit just by odds being in my favor. Thanks a lot

I buy the low tickets first I use the money on the low tickets I win on to buy the high-dollar tickets 51 little over $500 just from the 1 2 3 dollar tickets this year I started to buy $5 tickets I won around sixty bucks on the five dollar tickets I was mostly winning 10 to $20 dollars , I would go to different stores pile up the money , on a $2 weekly grand I won $40 , I would win 10 to $20 on a $1 tickets switch strategy is keep piling up your money and keep buying I play everyday I win one there three times every day
I really like this. Just yesterday I bought $30 worth of $1 tickets and only won $6! For sure that will never happen again. Because of this video I really understand
Michigan does not break the tickets down like this. We only see beginning amounts and balance of what that ticket starts at and it is updated every day as the winning tickets are cashed in. It would be great if it was like Texas.
Analytics are informative but sometimes you have to think outside the box. My theory is they know where they're sending these big winners. Try buying tickets in a more affluent zip code. Avoid the inner city as much as you can and buy where the money lives!
Great video. In Portugal the odds are completely different. 1 in 6,4 have prize, but if the scratch card is 5 eur you win 5 eur and that’s it. They should learn with the USA 🇺🇸. Great explanation. I just love your videos. Portuguese hugs.
This is the strategy I use. Kentucky has a $50 Ticket with the guaranteed top prize being either $100, $300, or $500. I got the $100 in the first third of one roll and stopped playing. A few days later I went in and the 2 cashiers looked at each other and one said, "are you going to tell him?" Right away I had an idea a Big Winner had been hit since $10000 was being hit all over the state. I said, "Did someone get the $10000?" They said, "No, $50000" and proceeded to show me the picture of it. 😂
Another thing people don't talk about.. Sometimes the cashier gives you the wrong ticket for a reason. Some of my better wins have been on tickets I didn't even ask for.
Someone told me they only keep up with prizes of 5k or more. Meaning they know what stores they put them in. I play Georgia all the time and I’ve never won on a first ticket and I have never played the last ticket.
Spiritual Scratcher someone working at the gas station I went to. I just got back from Florida a few people their customers and workers said it makes a difference what stores you go to. I won more in Florida in the 3 days I played than I win in 5 months in Georgia. Georgia really should start paying out on the 20 and above tickets.
Some like the beginning of the books and leave the last tickets ive seen on the the site jackpots on the last ticket in the roll i always check the trash can to see if any is chasing then i buy in 4
Problem looking in trash is because a lot of people scratch tickets at home and then check them at another store and put then in the other stores trash
Dave Haney thats why you compare tickets ask the clerk what number is it on and check book numbers always be friends with the clerk they can be a big help my clerk has my number and lets me know when books are in what tickets have hit etc
thanks! I knew I had to do this video when that guy in line with me said "I'll buy 3 more tickets to get a win" while showing me the 1 in 3.97 odds on back of the ticket. ugh!
I won $500 my second or third time playing. Went back to buy more the next day and got all losers. I think you’re right it’s best to mix up the gas station. But some gas stations I found out only take cash for lottery tickets.
Great video. Very much enjoyed that..I’ll try to incorporate some of those tips when I’m shopping for tickets for my videos‼️ trust me I need the tips 🤣😭
In kingsville pineville Louisiana on may 9 i went to circle k to cash 26 in tickets one being a 20 dollar win when the clerk came back after scanning she say i have 6 dollars she took 20 ticket and said i didnt give her 20 ticket she was calm when i asked about ticket she has done this before and im sure she will keep doing it

I've won 1000, and 500 twice, along with 100 probably ten times. And all I did was make sure I had the money and had fun with it. Walk in and walked out. No studying 😁
Fixin To Scratch hi. I only chase on a $5 ticket when the ticket is a new roll. I basically just buy some till I win to increase my odds of maybe getting a big win. Luckily, I won $50 on a $30 bet today ! What strategy do you recommend for $2 and $3 tickets I don’t have a huge budget?

Some of this i disagree on. I was playing a row of $2 jumbo bucks in tn. 150 tics on the row. I bought 20 tics. Spent 40 bucks. Hit $100 on tic 24. I left came back 2 hrs later. Row was ion tic 59. I bought tic 59 thru 64. Hit $500 on tic 64. There was still 85 tics left. But i spent total $50 n won $600 on tics 20 tics apart
I spent $9. 1 $5 ticket 2 $2 tickets Won $5000 on 1 $2 ticket. All the rest were losers. So I can believe it's random. Then my other theory is to buy tickets in a zip code where the money lives. Oddly enough the $5000 winner was at an inner city liquor store. For some reason I don't think a jackpot would be much higher there.
Good video very informative I buy 4 or more from the same roll I've won $40 on one ticket and $100 on another so according to your odd in video that roll has no big winner left?
Because you said unless you know don’t chase a pack because you could be starting in the middle. How do you identify you aren’t starting in the middle?
so yeah I find the less I chase the more I actually just win by random, no expectations, like on a 5 dollar I bought one ticket and won 50. . I stop and wait a day and go to different store and get same ticket if wins I stop if not I chase once and move on. i can`t afford to waste my money trying. any more. I have learned and refined the way I do this. It is fun to win but loosing is hard.
This is the video I've been looking for. Why are scratch off games so difficult. Do you play those crossword puzzle games. I always see those thrown around the city🗽
You have to remember also, while its true $10 and up tickets get better payouts, generally anything above $100 on $5 and $10 tickets are going to probably be your best wins on those denominations. In my experience $5 will generally have a max $50 win in a pack and $10 generally will have $100. Usually $20, $100 to $200 will be the max payout and $30 to $50 tickets will have max payout usually from $100 to $300 max payouts. Generally to me max out pays seem to be almost always be 10 times the ticket denomination, with 30 and 50 dollar tickets the exception usually, anything beyond that most usually will call those outliers or rare wins. In essence it doesn't matter what denomination you play, you just have to play smart within the game itself and try not to chase too much unless you know that max payout is in that pack.
@@njdevils9236 yes that's always true. That's why it boils down to ones play style. Some chase and get lucky, others sometimes play lowball and win, it's a matter of your taste and play in the end. In essence in that regard no play style is a bad or a good style.
Figure it’s worth mentioning- if you ask them, the claim center will make you a copy of your winning ticket for you to keep.
Thanks for the great vid!
I did not know that. Thanks for the info.

I agree with this theory. Never buy more than 2 at a time
2 in the same roll or 2 total?
@@reeddylan9294 what's the link
@@danabrittanykanalani7027 I honestly have done very well with 3 at a time in my state. From the same roll
Thank You sooooo much I learn a lot from you thanks.
glad you liked it!
Nice win and good info! People tend to rely on what the back of the ticket says and don't realize what that actually means. Have a good one Matt!
thanks! I knew I had to do this video when that guy in line with me said "I'll buy 3 more tickets to get a win" while showing me the 1 in 3.97 odds on back of the ticket. ugh!
Where can I look of the overall odds?
Like the one you show in the video
Visit the TX lottery website and click on a ticket. The game tables link will be at the bottom.
This was so helpful! Thank you!!!!
I literally watched the whole video buddy.
thanks Angel!
Good.. for... you?????

Wow thank you for sharing 😊😊😊👍👍
Thank you for the information. You are right the more tickets play increase your win. A person will win on increase prize tickets.
Great video FTS! Congrats! 😸
thank you very much.
I won $500 my second or third time playing. Went back to buy more the next day and got all losers. I think you’re right it’s best to mix up the gas station. But some gas stations I found out only take cash for lottery tickets.
Nice have a bless day brother
thanks
Great video. Very much enjoyed that..I’ll try to incorporate some of those tips when I’m shopping for tickets for my videos‼️ trust me I need the tips 🤣😭
Glad you liked it! :)
great explanation ..
Which video did you win the $1,000? Would love to see it.

I tied 10 $5 California greetings , from 000-009 , the 007,008 is the winner, between them does have white line , and 003-004 had white line , but they are not winner
Very. Good. Thank. You😀

howdy dude! from kern county california.
winning the lottery isn't actually that hard. It's really just math. This system helped me a lot. I learned so much, and I've won several times! This isn't a bullshit scam like everything else I've seen. If you want to learn how to deliberately win the lottery, give this a try, seriously! > *4WinLottery. Com*
I've won 1000, and 500 twice, along with 100 probably ten times. And all I did was make sure I had the money and had fun with it. Walk in and walked out. No studying 😁
Right off the bat I would've made rookie mistake number one LMAO 🤣
thanks FTC great info.
thanks tommy
So if none of the top prizes have been won...why would low traffic vendors make a difference if statistically the odds of winning are the same? 🤔
Hi if I chase on $5 tickets starting at 0, do you recommend this to be a good strategy To go till I get a win? 😊 great video.
I would not recommend chasing on a $5 ticket because of the pack size. The risk is just too much. thanks for watching.

But i spent total $50 n won $600 on tics 20 tics apart
there will be outliers. thanks for the response.
That's how I do it bro and same thing for me
I spent $9.
1 $5 ticket
2 $2 tickets
Won $5000 on 1 $2 ticket. All the rest were losers. So I can believe it's random. Then my other theory is to buy tickets in a zip code where the money lives. Oddly enough the $5000 winner was at an inner city liquor store. For some reason I don't think a jackpot would be much higher there.
how come i dont see scratchers in shrink wrap in california?
Your are so nice..thank you..
For sharing
thanks!
This is good too known i like winning i hate losing.😅.
Good video very informative I buy 4 or more from the same roll I've won $40 on one ticket and $100 on another so according to your odd in video that roll has no big winner left?
yes, as long as you've found either the highest guaranteed winner in the pack or an outlier.
How are you able to tell if a new pack has started
Because you said unless you know don’t chase a pack because you could be starting in the middle. How do you identify you aren’t starting in the middle?
They do go in order or you can ask the clerk.
so yeah I find the less I chase the more I actually just win by random, no expectations, like on a 5 dollar I bought one ticket and won 50. . I stop and wait a day and go to different store and get same ticket if wins I stop if not I chase once and move on. i can`t afford to waste my money trying. any more. I have learned and refined the way I do this. It is fun to win but loosing is hard.
that is good strategy.
This is the video I've been looking for. Why are scratch off games so difficult. Do you play those crossword puzzle games. I always see those thrown around the city🗽
If you missed one number on scratch off, how much money would you win?
Thanks for explaining this
glad you enjoyed it.
Can't afford to play anything other than $1 tickets
So how do you know if a pack already had a winer?
You don't unless you play from the beginning. I check the trash and also chat with the clerk to see if they've sold any big winners.
