Why did you have to connect to both left and right speakers to receive the signal? I saw another video that connected to only one side to receive the signal.
So you did not have to use the remote wire/turn on wire? How does the amp know when to power on and off? I was following your install and now I'm stuck on how to get a signal to the remote wire for a kicker hideaway 8" compact sub.
From the speaker signal. It will turn on and off your amp. I believe it is a standard feature for amps. There maybe a switch though between remote wire or speaker signal. Check your manual. I am sure Kicker has that feature.
Added depth to the sound. Definitely made my base speaker system sound better. Don’t expect that this unit will make your car vibrate that much. It only does a little when playing bass music.
Great video. Which fuse did you use near the battery + and the AWG of the power & speaker wires?
I bought a kit from Crutchfield. Comes with the power wire and fuse. So I’m not sure about the specs.
@@BradHemedes Thanks for the reply. The sub comes with a 15 A fuse near its terminal right? So do we need to add an extra fuse near the battery also?
@RiniyaEldon oh yes! Power cable fuse protects the car battery

I believe bass signal is stereo also. Meaning some bass signal are sent to left speaker and others to the right.

How you use it my truck came with one but il turn on just that u don’t hear the bass
Check if the remote level control turned all the way up. If the wired remote is not installed, you have turn it up on the bass module itself
How does it sound? Do you like it?

You’re welcome
But hits hard? Feel it in the chest? I'm looking into this one or Rockford one. Thank you.
No not this one. You should consider the the Kicker with 10in sub. My friend told that has more bass and I think it’s cheaper too.
