- Here is the full The Tower of Druaga OST, remastered by yours truly. Note that this isn't an attempt to mix the music differently with shitty MIDI files and soundfonts, all I've done was take the original Arcade audio, and cleaned up the audio so you can actually hear it, which is what you see here.
Notes: M1 + BridgeM1 playing the audio data from the game's ROM was used as the source of this remaster.

Immediately bought the tower of druaga theme for pacman 99 when it launched, now 3:16 is stuck in my head when another person and i are the only people left alive and we are trying our hardest not to die, seeing that 02/99 gives me so much anxiety

That dang song is going to be drilled into my head for all eternity after playing (and failing at) this game hundreds of times as a kid on the Namco game collection

Honestly, I didn't like the anime. It didn't have the same tone as the games and (like most anime in the past 10-15 years) had a lot of fanservice that distracted from the plot. I have seen worse, though.
I remember playing this game with a friend on the Namco Museum Vol. 3 back in middle school. Nostalgia and the good times.
Now the Namco Museum games are old enough to be in a museum themselves

Lanzhu Zhong, Ayumu Uehara, and Shioriko Mifune loved this game. They ever beaten that after reaching Floor 60.
apparently this was one of the OSTs that inspired Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi, Actraiser, Sonic the Hedgehog 8-bit, Ys 1 and 2) to compose video game music.

このゲームが登場したのは高２の時でした。メチャメチャ、インパクトがありましたね。今でもたまにプレイする時、懐かしく感じます。最近ではドルアーガ及びイシターシリーズのモンスターフィギュアがあれば良いなぁと思わずにはいられません。ドルアーガ、ナイト、マジシャン、ドラゴン、ローパーのフィギュアの側に犬夜叉や剣と盾を持たせたプリキュアのフィギュアを闘うような感じで配置したら面白いと思います。バンダイナムコさんが製造販売してくれたら有難いですが・・・

I remember first playing this game when my mom got me Namco Museum Vol. 3 for Christmas back in 2003. It was such a difficult and frustrating game, but I loved it anyway. I think it was because I had a crush on Gil, the main character of the game. (I know he's just pixels in the actual game, but his artwork was visible in the museum). I still love him to this day, and two years ago I got the Namco Museum game for the Switch so I could play The Tower of Druaga again. And of course I love the music!

6:09 There are no continues, my friend.
Actually there is a continue feature. After the game ends, insert another quarter and then hold the attack button while pressing start. A screen that says “CONTINUE MODE-SELECT START FLOOR” will appear along with a number. Use the joystick to select any floor to continue from up to the last one you played, then press the attack button to begin.
*NO IDEA* why they couldn’t have just put a countdown screen. Like, I know it was 1984 but fucking *Dig Dug* had a straightforward continue feature for Christ’s sake, why not this?!

@@leroyvisiongames2294 my guess is Namco wanted to be helpful but scummy. Yes you *can* continue the game but only if you know a certain way of doing it.
I was playing this game until I got to the floor where I fought druaga and accidentally went to the door without defeating him.

Yesh, how are you able to set up BridgeM1? I want to mess around with these files, but I can't set up the application up because I don't have any knowledge on setting files up and instructions on various sites didn't help...
I just placed it in the same folder as M1 (which is in my MAME folder, honestly), downloaded and placed the updated .XML file from the website I downloaded it from (which I said in another comment), and I was good to go for the most part. Note that it doesn't work for all games that work in MAME nowadays, as it was abandoned quite a while ago.

@@LunaTheStars This is merely the original soundtrack, as you hear it in the actual game. The only modifications I did were audio quality-related, and I did all of those modifications in Audacity. I have no idea how to use a sequencer of any sorts.
