haha. Yes, it took us a long time to learn too. To make it easier, we highly suggest getting the most superior balloon quality you can find. Qualatex, Betallic, and even Gemmar have a twisting balloon that is less likely to break. It also costs about 10 times more than a cheap balloon.
Thank you for your feedback. To be fair, this is a shape I do not normally make and I was focusing WAY more on how to remember the classic shape than focusing on how to teach it. We typically "teach" high basic to lower intermediate shapes on the channel and have a TON of professional twisters that watch. So, these quick and simple videos were created to "remind" the twisters of how to make them more than to teach people what to do. We have always taken the stance that one can always rewind and rewatch a video, but it is very difficult to speed them up where they still make sense. Hope you enjoy some of the other videos! In fact, if you watch the video on the snail, it will help immensely on how to make the swan. Very similar techniques.

I find the drawing on my balloons a real drag, with the result that I usually rush it and it looks sloppy.
