I'm still quite new to crochet, but I've started to be able to tell the size of the hook just by feel. I seem to be a 4mm girl. I'm starting this now with my stunning variegated, satiny tropical seas colors, like azure, turquoise, that came out of its wrapper ans is in 3 or 4 seperatw different tangled blobs. It's going to look magnificent. Your patterns are simple but gorgeous.

Beautiful pattern. It looks very elegant especially with the selected yarn. I may have to attempt a scarf. I love the half-double crochet stitch as it makes beautiful textures when used in combination with other stitches. Ironically it was the first crochet stitch I ever learned.

Beautiful. I'll use this in variegated blue to make my great grandson's baby blanket. But your starting chain tail should be longer to avoid unraveling and coming apart. Tails should be longer to weave in ends.
