I'm mesmerized by the section of the city at 20:33. It is in these seconds that the street looks fabulous. Like Provence in France. A sprawling tree, a warm orange light behind it, a cobbled street, a small distance between houses. Awesome! I noticed that you remain not indifferent to this place!
One of the best I have watched on this channel, plenty to see, intelligently divided in chapters, technical expertise quite evident, highly recommend to fans of this genre!

Great video, I just love the narrow streets of Old Town. I like to shoot photos of the streets and buildings. Some in color and in black and white. The black and white during a very light rain. Looking forward to your next video.
Actually all the Scandinavian countries are very very beautiful, I really enjoy this. My mind like a bird, flies in the sky of Sweden when I see the video and also when I see it at night mind becomes cool tensionless.
There is just something special about your walks that make me feel both happy, and sad, but in a good way. I’m sorry that you didn’t run into Iggy Pop too. P.S A certain song by doublePark came to mind when you were walking to Södermalm. :) Tack. ✈️🇸🇪
Great video. I can see that evening is the best time to explore Gamla Stan. Far less people. I remember you showing us the shortcut to the Sodermalm walkway. Another area on my “must” list is the red house area near Asogatan on the other side of Sodermalm. I’ll rewatch that walk in the next day or two and look at Google Maps.
Aha, yes, locate kvastmakartrappan by the end of åsögatan. Then continue walking to tiny streets skeppsgatan and Lotsgatan. But the area is small, continue to either Fjällgatan for the view (then to Cornelisparken, and on to a drink at Mosebacke). Or to Vita bergen, by Sofia kyrka (church), the small quite cottages around there, then have your drink among the hipsters of Nytorget. And yes, do Old Town Early morning or in the evening.
I haven't visited your channel for a long time. I hope you didn't get bored (although when you get bored, you are always on the go 🏃🏻♀️). Today I looked, ran a little, looked at what was new. I will look in more detail later. In this video I have already found very beautiful angles - 00:24 and 02:17
@@StockholmWalks Remember that famous crooked house (05:35)? He has a competitor - 12:21, house on the left. Windows with shutters and the floor above them
@@StockholmWalks It was nice to watch your video from 06/03/2022. Another face of the capital, modern and not very ultra-modern. Refreshed the perception of the city. I noticed that the American SUVs that fall into the frame do not fit into the general style. All other cars, on the contrary, only emphasize the beauty of the streets. Lots of new European cars
Given the use of new brands of cars as taxis in Stockholm, the question arose, for the average resident of Stockholm, is the use of taxi services generally accepted? Or are taxis expensive?
This walk is of great interest. I will be staying at Hilton Slussen on my visit. I’d love to see a walk from Urban Deli/Nytorget 6 to the Hilton. And one from Zinkensdamm to the Hilton. If they’ve already been filmed, I’d like to know which episodes. Tack.

What a wonderful video... So many shops, Cafe`s and Restaurants to explore and discover.....I like that there are no "Sky Scrapers".... You would find me in a Café near the lake with a couple of bottles of Ice cold Chablis.. You are welcome to join me and tell me all about the Stockholm Bloodbath in 1520.... ( I was paying attention ) :-)))) xxx ps: The scooter thing still upsets me! One was left in the middle of a bridge?? What happened... did they jump??? :-(

Nah, not an official name of an area. But the center of Stockholm is in the area of Norrmalm, near central station and Sergelstorg. I wouldn’t tell a friend we meet at Norrmalm though, I would say “city” (opposed to Kungsholmen, old town, Södermalm etc that i would use the names for). This walk starts just a few minutes from Central station, at Norrmalm, but quickly leaves it for old town.
We’ll catch up next time. I did find time for an awesome picture with the Swedish queen. I’m no royalist, but it was a cool pic of same age people in very public but different corners of the world
