Hi! I commented on another vid of yours asking whether you hire someone to create the books for you or if you create them. Ive been doing a bit of research and i have a question for you.. is it ok to use ai generated pictures for picture books? Im sorry im such a newbie! Im kind of leaning towards illustrating and writing the book myself.. im just wondering if its a bad idea to use AI like midjourney for illustrations. What are your thoughts? Thank you!!

Hi. I haven’t used AI personally but I know a lot of people do. I know there is a box you have to check when you upload to KDP to declare you’ve used it. I guess, for me, it would depend on the images it produced and if the images could link together to help the story telling (if that makes sense 😂). Couldn’t hurt to have a play around with it though and see what results you get.

@Projectrichmum ah thank you!! Do you see any draw backs to using AI? What other options do I have? Do you actually illustrate your books yourself? What platform or app do you use to do that? (If you do all the illustrations yourself, kudos to you!!)
