Yay so happy you shared this video! I was unsure about the shadow version but seeing them side by side is so helpful. Is the cardstock the same? I am wondering if it could work to mix some of the cards from each deck together, picking my favs. I think I prefer the shadow edition overall but there are still a good chunk of cards from the original that I love. Obviously the edges, backs and borders would be different, but do you think it would work in terms of the cards being the same texture/size/etc.?
You are so very welcome🙏🏾🤎 The decks are very very simulair, but I do feel a slightly small difference in shuffling, however this can be because the Shadow one is very very new, so it needs to be broken in (sort of speak)... for the rest they feel the same and have the same size ect... I also keep going back and forth about which one I would prefer, but I think I just love both🤣 There are so many different cards I just look at the deck as a second edition. But I think it would work if you would want to make one perfect personolized deck for yourself. If you do this, please tag me in a video or photo cause I would love to see the end result!!😍

@@lucid_moons quick note, I think the texture of the cards is different... I didn't notice cause I wasnt paying attention. The Original Moonchild is mat, and the Shadow one is a bit rose petal finish... this might be part of the reason why my shuffling was a bit more "difficult"... I just wanted to mention it too you🙏🏾🤎

@@joanne5224 you're very welcome. And ofcourse, take your time... I always tell people not to rush. Use the RWS, Thoth and Marseille to really get a good understanding of the cards and of yourself... The Moonchild decks are pretty populair, so I don't think they will go anywhere... When you feel ready and you still love the deck, then go for it 🙏🏾🤎

To me it looks like the Akashic tarot + Moonchild = Moonchild shadow work.
