Abandoned Underground BOMB SHELTER SEALED For 50 Years Under my Grandparent’s Garage!

This project was one of the more special things I’ve done with my papa. We had, and still are having fun exploring the shelter. The reason for exposing it now; my granny she outlived my grandpa two decades and we took care of her which is a full time job in itself we were limited on any time to do things like this.
It was sealed over in the 70s because my grandparents were not able to get down in there anymore and also the threat of a bomb was very low at that point so decided to have a floor built over the top and create a small workshop.

Turn the ladder where your bottom is at the opening and it will be easier to get off of the ladder,instead of the wall.

i was surprised to see a advert for pizza from 1972, cos here in the uk, pizza was unheard of back in 1972, they obv,sly existed, but not in the uk, also pasta was unheard of back then too, apart from macaroni cheese in a tin, everyone back then lived off potatoes, & making what we call tattie dinner,s, & also chips.

Wow, you now have a pre-made Root Cellar for Taters, Apples, canned goods, etc. Ammo boxes too. Complete with a sump hole in case it floods (that hole is NOT for a toilet!!) If you want a potty, use 2 5/gallon buckets. One to pee/poo in, the other with sawdust to cover it with.There are even toilet seats that fit on a 5/gal bucket! Don't you DARE pee in that hole! You'll stink the place up for months!
