Thank you Michael! Made it up to 36 today, west of Salem. Have not bothered removing the covers off the sensitive plants for the past several days. Have a good evening.
I live out of Sprague River Oregon at 4500 ft. Our scenery is beautiful here. I have large windows throughout my home. I watch this fog in the early morning hours lift up... And then back down it comes, repeating the same thing . I know we are in a freezing cloud .... Which does lift and rise. But, it is still a strange thing to see . I have 5 ponderosa lined up in the back of my property. You should see how thick they are with the frozen fog !! Absolutely gorgeous ❄️❄️❄️
Drove into Portland and back from White Salmon, WA in the gorge yesterday. Absolutely epic easterlies looked to peak around Donner Point. Smoke on the water.
I live almost to Gresham. Just on the outskirts of East Portland. I work towards downtown in the Hollywood district. On my way to work, I crossed the second overpass and the temps went from 34 degrees to 29 with freezing fog. It was so strange. This same exact weather happened last year at the end of October. So the season is about a month delayed I would say.
South Vancouver Island here, Ive been lucky enough to not have to cut down my 12 foot banana palms but I think its time. I normally cut them nov 1st but they enjoyed all the storms actually. Love the water. But they hate the cold so its time.
@3krickett,have you been able to get any fruit during the summer months with your banana palm and able to harvest any by chance or maybe its ornamental type ?
Thank you, Michael! Oooo, I heard those words, "active weather" bring it Mother Nature!! Chilly here in Oly Town this morning, and still a tad brisk, and cloudy, but nice walking the boardwalk of Budd Inlet!! Have a great day everyone, stay cool😎keep safe, and will see ya in the next one! Great video, dear sir!! 😃🌨☃❄⛄❄
I understand that you’re mainly interested in reporting on your own area. But wondering if you could (plz) recommend anyone for SW Montana weather forecast (just east of the Rocky Mt Divide)? I live just south of the state capital and you’d think we’re well covered, but just the opposite. It’s a wasteland for decent weather/wind😳 reports. Thanks SO much for any suggestions you may have!
I live near Missoula. For years the best weather prediction I get is by watching Seattle N & S, then Spokane, CDA. The coast is day & half or 2 days ahead; Spokane, day or less. If you watch the overhead currents on this channel you also can see trends. However, the maps often cut us off. Michael also shows some expectations in MT, thanks Michael! If all else fails go outside, look up and around and smell the air. You can probably expect more wind and maybe colder and more snow in the low spots where you are.
@@QueSeraSera-f3s Hense the snow in low spots . A wind chill calculator would probably be helpful. And add a half day or so to Missoula and Havre weather. You might get both !
I've been looking for a PNW weather channel. Happy to say I'm now subscribed. Keep it up!

The thumbnail for this video is hilarious! 😂 Great way to describe the jet stream sometimes.
Thank you from Moses Lake, WA
Another hard frost in Portland. Sidewalks frozen. Birdbaths frozen. Birds unamused. Squirrels beginning to revolt. It's getting ugly out there.
Sounds terrible drama queen
😂😂😂👍❤️

I wonder what the chances of us in Seattle getting snow this year.
I love the freezing rain videos on TH-cam from Seattle. Everyone gotta get to work always equals a disaster
White Pass skiing; excellent Spring conditions ,while it lasts.
Had freezing fog last night. It looked like we had a light snow. We are still socked in with fog all day, in a valley east of 405.

I don't see your Blue Sky link on your page.
Did they update the upper northwest rainfall estimate for you 😊
I don't think people from Portland understand what "frost" is vs. Freezing conditions
How’s it looking for Lolo pass area ?
