For a Spock reference, I loved the one where Penny got Sheldon a napkin Leonard Nimoy had used. Sheldon, completely awestruck, mentioned that his DNA was on the napkin.
I love how even Penny gets to pick up on the nerdy references after a while, an effect of how the guy's geeky culture is starting to rub off on her too!
My favorite is when Penny is cautioning the upstairs actress not to take advantage of their friends. They don't know how to use their shields. Ya know, when the Enterprise goes into battle and raises its shields . . . WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM?????
My favourite pop-culture moment was when Sheldon was talking about his favourite cartoon-comic TV theme song, notably singing the theme songs of Spider-Man, Inspector Gadget and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That was hilarious and the Inspector Gadget theme got stuck in my head for a week because of it.
My favorite pop-culture reference in The Big Bang Theory would have to be the away team episode when the guys dressed up as the next generation cast, except for Howard because he was dressed as a Borg. And what was also great about that episode was that the girls started up an argument about Thor's hammer, which throw in a little bit of Marvel Comics reference in there as well. 👍
Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) is a Sci-Fi Anime Series and the "Star Wars " franchise (1977 -) is a Sci-Fi Movie franchise. As a "Brynhildr in the Darkness" anime fan and "Star Wars" fan , I really enjoyed this video that are referencing the Sci-Fi in The Big Bang Theory. 👨🔬👨💻👩🔬👩💻🔭🧪🔬🌠⭐💫👽👾
I watched an episode of Firefly during its initial run and gave up. Later I watched Serenity and loved it. I just found the Firefly on DVD and watched it in its correct order. It is a great series that the suits in the head office killed with their stupidity.
