Unfortunately the mic's volume seemed to have been lowered down on Siti side as to not overpower Gareth's voice comparing to the rehearsal version.
IMO: one of the great thing about DSCT is she can sing a non-Melayu song with the non-Melayu way but you can sense that there is still Melayu influence blend in perfectly and she made that her characteristic her signature. you can't find that in western singers nor on average Melayu singers since not all Melayu singer can sing non-Melayu way greatly. pardon my English.

There are many singers out there who sing in English when English is not their first language. Even Celine Dion has a certain accent when she is singing and speaking.
the fact that you said agnezmo sounds westernized, it seems that you dont know what constitutes to a song. Siti sang it professionally. I dont think she was off-pitched or anything wrong with her singing techniques. To be honest, siti's singing capabilities are much better than agnes.
