These IOWA and Illinois tracks are heavier dirt, they hold moisture and don't slick off as fast as red clay tracks.. top really didn't roll in.. if Terry Phillips dosent run up there nobody's going to...Keep diggin!

I've met and been around some of them guys for several years,miss the days at Baytown,I miss those days and hanging out with some of them guys and more than a few of them are pretty good people and once they get to know y'all and how y'all race y'all will have friends for a lifetime
Chase the conversations that you had with those four boys at the end, that's what it's all about. I'm sure when you were a kid growing up around the track you probably had those few people who you always wanted to talk to, well now you are that person for these kids. These are the impressions and touches that have brought and continue to keep so many people here at your channel! Last video you were getting heckled for missing a restart and people were telling you to reach out and get help on that. Look buddy, if you're not out making those contacts because you are here having these conversations, well maybe it's just me, but I would say these conversations with these kids are far better. You do you, we will be right here to cheer you on from all over the United States.

It's tough running with any organization we done it in the past and it's a lot of fun but it wears you down fast and if you get tore up it's even worse. We run I think 30 some nights on on year you get to see a lot of places but you don't have to e to enjoy them because you are so busy taking care of things.

Great job chase and family for making the a-main without going to a b-main missed the set up but that happens y’all gotta remember y’all haven’t raced there nothing to go by but knowledge reading the track and we all know we can miss that setup but I think I know what the problem is y’all have been on the road all week chase hasn’t been able to lift the cat up take the tires off spray that special pre wash stuff and power wash it the car likes being clean and shiny it runs faster that way lol keep up the good work and love the videos about racing and everything going on in between
Racing three or four nights a week is tough, my son and I did it on a local level once with 4 nights with 3 straight his rookie year and that was the last time we did that. My hats off to you guys doing your thing with the usmts guys, keep up the good work

Okay, that was a great outing even if you fell to the back. Well done. A lesson we learned in our years of racing was you may only find one other racer who will go out of their way to offer up some solid advice. Majority of the others acted like jerks, forgetting that they too were once newbies. We had so much trouble dialing our car in at first and was constantly spinning out. You would think the jerks would offer some solid advice to keep you going straight in order to race without a ton of yellows. Haha, we quit racing in 2002 and this still riles me. Bless Mama Squirrel out there getting her hands dirty too, and thanks for telling us a bit more about Rocky, he is an asset you can’t afford to lose. Lastly, can you spring for a better microphone, sometimes it’s hard to hear what you all are saying.
What a great fairground and speedway. Not many places like that left today. Iowa feeds a lot of people with their corn and meat production. It is truly the heartland of this country.
This one's barely hanging on being inside the town. The non race fans in Decorah hate it! Plus their regular night of racing is Saturday which is the same night as nearby Deer Creek, which now added USRA stock cars to there show taking some cars away.
@@hawkeyeandrew1 Get that. We had a fairground racetrack where I grew up in NC. It was a big deal on Saturday night years ago. Now I think they use it for a horse rink. They still have the fair though.

the track doubles as the Fairgrounds for that area. the cattle and swine is were the 4-H kids show off their project animals. wouldn't be surprised if they have cattle auctions there as well.
im a few days behind but i wouldnt take offense to to some of the guys not giving you the time of day or the cold shoulder. some guys are just super focused and soft spoken.
Great job team, I can see ur getting use to racing same guys in usmts clean, they will respect u, but sometimes rubbing is rough, dont be afraid to lean on someone door for a position, not a lr shot, they will still respect u, they are thinking same way I promise u, its a race,
Chase your doing great bro , keep your head up and if you read this there’s something I’ve always noticed about your driving style that is getting you beat mostly and it’s when your entering the corner , you gotta get your car to automatically start rotating, that split second it’s taking you to get on the brakes to turn the car is costing you a lot of time, watch the guys beating you on how their cars are turning when entering , just something to adjust too, keep digging bro your getting there.

Hey yall just a suggestion but I think yall should replace the wheels on your tire rack with some of those big rubber tires. Easier mobility and can still hold the weight.
I've noticed that you guys are fast on the lightly banked tracks and a bit slower on the higher banked tracks up here in Wisconsin and Minnesota so was wondering if on the high banked tracks if you don't need a stiffer right ready setup. Might be the other way around but something like that may help
Y'all be careful who ya take advise from cause I will promise you that some of them have forgotten where they came from and will flat out lie to ya!! What a shame but we have been in this long enough to know this. Happened to us in Arca and the Bush series when our team was cutting our teeth. I beleive it was down right dirty and could get someone hurt. Great run kido!
