- 1 vs 1 battle of HoMM3 towns, with 100 weeks of Castle and horde growth. None of the heroes have skills (so specialties such as Offense and Armorer are useless).
Just the Mighty Gorgon itself curbstomped nearly the entire army of Stronghold.
Mighty Gorgons are SCARY.
I wanted to bring up something strange about them, though. For some reason, their Death Stare works on Troglodytes even though the Trogs have no eyes. Doesn't that seem strange to you?
Not like it would make an enormous difference, but I think that HotA should update Trogs to have immunity to Death Stare (if possible). It'd just make sense.
They could also go about making Gargoyles immune to Petrification. Wouldn't make an enormous difference, but could serve to make Gargoyles actually useful.
@@darkdill I don't think the troglodytes should be immune to death stare. I mean the mighty gorgons stare at their victim, not the victim to them.
It's amazing when the AI uses the death stare correctly.
u have to remove terrain, he probably did the fight tons of times, until fortress won, cos if that Behemot gets first hit, i think its game over
Gorgon should be tier 6 and wyvern should be tier 5 lol
well... actually, I would place gorgones at level 5,5 as well as minotaur kings. gorgones are just too tanky and have ultimate ability, meanwhile minotaurs are just superior fighters with increadible stats. also, I consider wyverns somewhere like lvl 5,75, especially non-graded version, since they are quite pathetic compared to other lvl 6 units.

One thing to be considered is the place of the Chaos Hydras, the Hydras will show its power when it is surround by many enemy. So the Fortress can has more change to win.
Think hydra lv1 should have a frontal like attack, like the cerberus and when its upgraded to chaos hydra its all around attack,
AI tried to snuggle the Hydras in the first battle and got curbstomped, didn't focus the Murdercows in the second and got shitmixed.
The cows did fine tbh.

Yeah, Gorgons always scared me when going up against the Fortress.
Stronghold is great but requires smart tactical controll
y u should never make it easy for hydras to do their thing :D
would've been nice to go hot-seat, to be able to play both players, and then, when fight starts, before moving the units, remove all the obstacles, and only then autocombat with both players
Then I would have cheated and make a faction lose on purpose.

Стрекоз и Вивернов надо было придержать до конца хода , а так они сразу были убиты и в битве почти не участвовали. Правда, это не помогло варварам...

How are Gorgons hitting their passive every single hit? Isn't that supposed to be a chance thing?
They can if they pass the 10+ number 100%. I single gorgon has the 10% chance to hit their passive. 31 gorgons can kill for example with death stare 3 titans and the 1 has 10% to kill an additional titan.

Considering that 10 gorgons give 100% chance but there is a chance that 1 gorgon could kill 1 titan
So technically there is an incredibly small chance that 31 gorgons could kill 31 titans with their stare
@@Believeinyourself-00 I think it works like this: 31 gorgons can kill 0-4 titans, 40 gorgons can also kill 0-4 titans, 41 gorgons can kill 0-5 titans and so. The more gorgons, the fewer chance to get 0 kills, but it sometimes happens.
I believe the number of kills in death stare is based on binomial/Bernoulli probability distribution, with upper cup, that gorgons can't kill more than (number of gorgons / 10) units. I tested it with 1000 gorgons and never got more than 100 kills, usually around 90 kills.
@@Allkon nope, 31 gorgon Can kill 3-4 (90% to kill 3, 10% to kill 4) Titan with passive, 30 gorgon will kill 3, and 40 will kill 4
@@groscaramelmou2583 31 gorgons can also kill 2 or less titans, It's really easy to check in combat. I tested it with 1000 gorgons and believe me, they didn't always get 100 kills.

Funny readin all the Stronghold copium. Fortress is the best faction. This was fair and balanced. Even without the upgrades, Fortress still dominated Stronghold.

I think the upgraded fight is basically a draw. One morale/luck proc could change the outcome. Interesting seeing non-upgraded Stronghold getting stomped on, though. Behemot and Wolves upgrade is way too strong not to have.

@@heroes3dealer639 Videos are nice , but the Ai is dumb. It should wait the units , and then move them according to speed. In those scenarios , the dragon flyes always die, since they get kille by slow units for free. So you cant see this as a good comparsion of the town strenght. Also the focus is always bad - like gorgons not targeting the 7 tier units , or in other videos , black dragons beeing faster - focusing nagas , and than eating 50% more dmg from titan wrath.
But still , videos are entertaining , fun to watch - so thanks for the uploads : )

You could also upload Human players vs each other , I know that isn't also fair , since it involves skill - but its more reliable - than the AI.
You could also move the units yourself - using the most reasonable of moves you think are , for the given situation. Anyway , nice videos - thanks for the uploads : )
@@Derflingerblade Yeah, but playing hotseat against yourself is kinda lol - one side always knows exactly what the other side is thinking/planning. That's like a chess match between two telepaths. : P
If 1000 Mighty Gorgons cast Death Stare on 200 Behemoth, how many Behemoth will die from that? 1 or 100 ?

@@ffarkasm nah not 100, since its not 100% that death stare procs, its like 10% chance that 1 might gorgon kills one unit, 10 mighty gorgons will kill 1 unit, ofc 10 might gorgon could kill 10 units with death stare, but thats very unlikely
@@Elchupanibres yes, but 100 would be the average number. It can be more, can be fewer.
@@ElchupanibresFortress can be very powerfull,think about it if you have expert luck,thw chance of deatj stare at gorgons is way higher,also the chance of petrifiyng,weakness and poison wil be higher at other units
@@so2player2023 Luck has nothing to do with procs going off, it just effects the pure damage a unit does

I think that wyvern is offensive , speed , flying , poisonous sacrificial unit in Fortress army like dragon fly but not that much for 6th towns unit , but Gorgon is defensive , strong , lots of health and special instakill ability and challenge the best 5th towns unit .
I Feel like stronghold coulda won in the last one if they focused on the mighty gorgons, that was bs

This suggests that fortress doesn't get very strong upgrades except for the mighty gorgon.
