that Debbie, why did she even bother joining Blind Date lol. Great upload, really shame there isn't much on youtube, I honestly thought this was one show there would be a lot of episodes about.
The woman are so feminine, the 80's 90's so sweet, men clean shaven, kind, caring, real gentlemen. Growing up back then was so much fun everyone got along, people could take a joke and people were not serious it was simple. You didn't need a lot of money to have a good time. Technology has destroyed us socially. Feels like a different world. People are so aggressive nowadays, what has happened to people.
I grew up in the 80s and 90s. It was nice back then but different for everyone. The general way of life was a bit more simple back then and political correctness wasn’t a thing like today. But when it comes to good and bad, I’m not sure that’s changed. They were just as bad then as now, just with not as many outlets to manifest it
Agreed about all of what you said but mostly on people where not vitriolic the way they are today. Also, this racism virus that seaps into every aspect of Western society today was not warranted in my childhood 70s 80s
The average bloke would have zero chance of dating any of the women who appeared on Blind Date. I've noticed that women prefer men who have dark hair. I can't remember the last time I saw a woman with a bloke who had a different hair colour than either dark brown or black. Where have all the blonde, light brown, red/ginger haired men gone?. If you're single and looking for someone, then my advice would be to stay off dating sites/apps like plenty of fish, Bumble, Tinder etc, because they are a complete of waste of time. You have more chance of flying to the moon than getting reply from someone on a dating site.
@user-mc1yd9bp5x Most women today only want a bloke who has the looks and/or money, and if they have neither of those then they aren't interested. Being over 6ft is another thing for women and having dark hair and a beard and tattoos, neither I have myself haha. I've had one relationship in my my life so far and I don't consider myself ugly looking, but I'm not the kind of person who can easily meet someone and chat them up, worse on a dating site where the competition from other men messaging the same women will be unbelievable - 20 men to one 1 woman and most will be above average in looks, drive a fancy car, be dead cocky and have all the charm. There are more single people today more than ever before, and I think it's because so many men and women expect too much because of all the crap they are watching on TV, celebs lifestyles etc that are influencing them, they want that kind of lifestyle but don't realise it's not the real world. Plus dating sites make easy for bored women (and men) who are in a relationship they don't like to just start flirting with others and go on dates behind their partners back.
I miss normal people

Debbie had a boyfriend before going to Blind Date
I wonder what all these people are doing now and who they ended up with?
