No, that's not exactly true. I think your sentiment is the old way, and it's why capitalism has gotten out of control. A more enlightened view is that people should negotiate competitively but the price should be fair to both parties. What is considered fair is subject to debate though.

I think that version is a pretty common card in ungraded form. It came included with starter sets back in the day. I believe the first edition shadowless machamp was as the one that would should up in booster packs and is more valuable. Still a great card and pickup though.

Yup that’s why it’s best to just buy sealed booster boxes at or below msrp at these invents. Or PSA 10s if you’re a good haggler and know how to pick them, but it’s a gamble with slabs going up or down. Best bet is the booster boxes

We sell at market which is why we buy at a percentage in order to cover overhead etc. but we do sell on multiple online platforms
