i just wanted to say that this man is so sweet and just humane...i have lost faith in "rabbis" my rabbi is our "creator" would be nice if there was someone like him here in israel,,ive watched a few clips and really enjoyed listening to him...thankyu so much!

there's a problem that we have, that we don't believe our cavanah creates anythings. we think intention is a certain kind of mental fluff.
how do you create facts in the worlds of yitzerah.... in the world where you dream things, where you're being energized and motivated...
we know if don't deposit in this, and we'll be anemic in our soul life.
i the it when an organization sits down and says we should do this and that, and they don't make a budget available for it, because then they don't mean it. if you really give a mandate, then you have to also ive a budget. (1:11)
in the same way, when you have a really good intention, you have to give it a time budget.
at one point, we used to offer a sacrifice, a sheep, another time we used to offer precision formula of words, baruch atah... exactly as the rabbi said. (1:35)
today what we offer the god is time and attention. (1:46)
in our time an hour spent on something is the best sacrifice we have. (2:22)
the deposit of time spent with kavanah.... "and hereby i assign life space to doing that..." if life space is not assigned, it won't happen. (5:29)
while a fact is established in the factic universe, in the imaginal universe, a fact is established by our imagination filing it with intention and energy. (6:15) (kavanah is intention and energy; literally '"direction of the heart")
landmarks in life: assignment to learn, to do this.... one of the nicest in my life is when i was in Brazil i went hang gliding... i was superman there. as i tell this, it makes it juicy for me.. but what did i do... i really connected it to my inner life... than you god, what an amazing experience i've had and been able to have.
when we do holy things.. beautiful things, good things, true things.. all this makes up the wave, the story of a life.
i want to say, and i'm sure those of you who are therapists will vouch for this, that the people who have only broken pieces and unconnected life stories, life dreams, have problems. (9:20)
so, if i were to want to help people, i'd want to say, come, let's re-edit your story. (end).
