I read a comment on here mentioning Farmer Boy/Almanzo...I totally forgot that those two books (LHOTP and Farmer Boy) were intertwined sometimes! Those were my favorite books as a child. I recently just found all my copies of them :)
I wonder if this is supposed to represent that chapter in Laura's book "Farmer Boy" where Almanzo's family was always paid visits by an old tin peddler!??
Hey do you think you could put up episodes "To See The World" and "Founder's Day" from Season 1 please? Thank You. Thanks for uploading all these episodes.
@candlelight482 A lot of poor people didn't want to be forced to pay. Can't say I blame them. When you struggle for for food and necessity you don't want to be bothered with an additional bill that isn't essential. Nobody realized they could donate with tin garbage jugs recycled. Tinker really had the best solution. Everyone donated the easy way.
@5171967cafk I agree that sounds wrong. He listened to the children and Carolyn, putting his hand to his ear. Maybe he was hard of hearing but not deaf.
@Miracle490d I agree! Thank you :) I like Little House on the Prairie 1000 times more than the Brady Bunch lol. In an episode of Little House, a girl was raped and then killed, but the worst the Brady Bunch ever had to face was what? Building a house of cards? Lol
thanks so much for getting up my request so fast... this is one of my favorite episodes.
i was looking for this tv show for years... all i could remember was a man called tinker... now i've found it
“Bless the labours of the husband”, as if the women didn’t work as hard as the men!

Mr. Ingles is like a nineteenth century Mr. Brady lol
@IwillKillYourCereal I had to comment, your name cracks me up lol
She said "You forgot to wash my fishy" Tinker gave her a little puter fish.

Tinker is Chuck McCann. How come his name is not in the credits? How come all the guest stars in season one are not in the credits?
I always thought it was rather unfair to give Carrie a fish while Mary and Laura got horses... He could have given her a little sheep or something.
Mrs. Oleson is always trying to put her name on something. When a person does that, means they are a bragger. Don't like that.
I don't think he was a deaf type of mute, because he could def'tnly. understand speech.
