In a scenario where accountants are concerned about losing their jobs, Hector has initiated an inspirational conversation about this powerful tool! Instead of being pessimistic, the key is to embrace these changes and move forward, embracing the present and future! Congrats Hannah and Hector!

Hannah I just wanted to thank you for all your videos, as I have a very small business and would never be able to afford all of your professional advice.

Thank you, Hannah! I just love Hector and this information is something I've been wondering about so much lately. This was such a great topic to cover. I'm not sure if when we're reframing our roles into advising on future financial decisions, because it might veer into the area of financial advisors, which requires certain licensing etc..

There is plenty things we can do without having to have a series 7 license

Thanks for watching - and great questions. I am a small business CFO and advise clients all the time - but it does not bleed into the realm of financial advisors and no certifications are needed!

Great Podcast. Why only QB has the advance technology of bank conecting and parenting recognition at this level and SAGE does not. Is QB and Sage the most accounting software providers? Thanks for your answers.

The need for accounting will exist as long as businesses exist. The user experience will change dramatically. I think it will eventually move into a TurboTax-type model where you can DIY easily and affordably with an upcharge for CPA review.
