Thanks for watching! To think this one is nearly 10 feet shorter than our Tiffin, it still seems roomy. All of the windows certainly help with the open feel.
Thanks for watching! We've been settled in about 6 weeks now and are still smiling. We loved our Tiffin, but this definitely fits our needs and life so much better.
Mary and I have been waiting for this video to drop ever since we saw you guys at Lake Conroe when you first bought your new coach. Congratulations once again on your new purchase and we hope to run into you guys again down the road to speak some more as we enjoyed your company. Too bad we had to leave the next morning after meeting you but hopefully we'll cross paths again. Brett & Mary from Missouri
Thanks so much - the layout is truly what sold us on this one. And after living in it for the past 6 weeks, we are so comfortable and settled in that we know it was the right choice for us.
Thanks! So do we! And the sofa and dinette both make sleepers as well as the loft if you're feeling especially acrobatic so there's plenty of space for company.
Fantastic! It’s really nicely laid out. You may have “downsized”, but certainly haven’t sacrificed a bit of comfort. Hopefully Penny and I can see it in person someday! (Hint hint) 😎
Thanks Mark - we feel really fortunate to have found this floorplan, it gave so many features in a smaller size. Looking forward to seeing you both soon!
I really like the layout of your Class C. I just looked at one for sale with a similar layout. I live in Ontario and am considering buying from a company called CanaDream. They have some nice used (2 yr old) units on sale. My husband and I are 70 and 81 considering living full time in a Class C. It’s a big decision so I’m taking my time sorting it all out. I do have a TH-cam channel (CounselorSue - The Variety Show). I’m a retired counsellor, you could guess that one by my YT name. Husband at 81 just retired. He has two more weeks of work to go. We both were self-employed, contract work (me counsellor, him pastoral care), so we don’t have a company pension. We will be living on our senior government pensions only, so I’ve worked out the budget and beleive we could actually live comfortably in a Class C. I’ve subscribed, interested to see how you two make out. Cheers (Sue in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada).
Thanks for coming along in our journey! Congrats on retirement - it's a big step, but we will be celebrating 5 years full time on the road in just a couple of weeks. No regrets and no end in sight.
@@dorothym1324 Thanks for watching! The Ford chassis has been spot on - no issues at all. The house has been good too, just a few little "do-it-yourself" fixes. Pleased so far!
We really are pleased with the features and layout. You hear lots of quality issues with new RV's, and Thor products in particular. Overall, we have been surprised at how few issues we found and how minor they have been. And the gas chassis has handled the mountains in the west really well.
We have watched your channel for several years and enjoyed touring your new motorhome. We are from Conroe and wished we could have met you when you were in town. We recently sold our 2 year old Phaeton 40IH and looking to down size. We are wondering how your 30AMP service is working for you in your new MH? We are concerned that you have a lot of power drain items and wondering how you manage with electric dryer, 2 AC, induction burner, and convection oven. We realize that you can’t run all of them at the same time but do you have to constantly watch the power drain and often blow breakers. Safe journeys! Maybe meet you on the road one day!
Great question! This motorhome has a power management system that has performed beautifully. Each of the 15K Coleman Mach 8 air conditioners only pull 8 amps, so with both running there is 16 amps. The other day we had both A/C units on with the washer and dryer, no problem. I added the microwave and it "shed" power (turned off) the dryer. When the microwave was done, it automatically turned the dryer back on. There's a display screen that shows your current amp draw as well as any of the circuits that it has shed power to. Not one breaker tripped in the RV or the pedestal so far. It's pretty amazing. Hopefully we can meet on our next pass through Conroe. And btw, Garrett at Holiday World in Katy was great to work with, we'd highly recommend him and the dealership. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your response! We are very interested in your Class C MH. Please give feedback as you adjust to your new MH. Interested in any mods, problems, how it handles, gas mileage, how you manage to stay within weight limits, any other important facts or tips you might think we would be interested in! BTW - you have a beautiful coach!
Absolutely beautiful !!! We are so happy for you. Enjoy your new home to the fullest. And keep the videos coming !!
Thanks for watching! We are still loving travel, and still recording as we go. Hope to see you on our next pass through southern California.
Hi Doug and Cathy, Love your new rig. Great floor plan. Mary 💕Fred
Thanks - the compact size plus having a king bed and stackable washer/dryer sold us - some things you don't want to give up. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful unit. It really is amazing with the space.

Congrats on your new home! Nice that the stovetop is both gas and electric. We agree completely. Less is more. - Michelle

It was a great meeting you both! Hopefully next time our paths cross we'll have a bit more time together. Until then, safe travels!
Love the layout

I'm really happy for you! I have always said that we need the inside length of our Phaeton but want the nimbleness of a rig 10 feet shorter. 😄
We felt the same way - it has taken a while to find the right compromise. Looking forward to seeing you all on the road again!
We're so bummed we missed you! It looks like we were at Lake Conroe around the same time as you guys...
Sorry we missed you! Definitely hope we cross paths on the road again. Thanks for watching.

Wonderful RV!
Have you had any mechanical issues with your new rig?

Lovely coach. We are planning to purchase an RV early next year. Would you recommend this coach today? How is it working out for you?
