hi *waves* Thank you so much, that’s really great to hear. There is a lot of time spent before I make the video just trying to understand the poem myself, so I try my best to make it as clear as possible for other people. Have a great day! ;)
I'm studying Frost for A-level English, and I have to say this video really helped to break down the poem and properly analyze it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful video
THANK YOU SO MUCH for saving my AS Eng lit mid-terms exams! A very thorough and easy to understand analysis. I will return when I study for my final end of year exams!
I am from Bangladesh.Today I have watched your valuable video for the first time.I really like it.Your teaching system is very effective. We will always support you.carry on.
THIS WAS AMAZING! You really must be wise to have come to all these conclusions. Thank you so much for making me fall in love with a poem I once hated😭. God bless you real good!
Ahaha thank you so much, I’m not that wise, I do lots of research before I make these 😉 omg I love that I made you fall in love with the poem that’s amazing! ❤️
This is a great analysis. As a IT graduate, I’m trying to self teach myself poetry and I really felt connected to the poem after watching your video. Thanks so much!
Thank you for making this video. By chance, I was thinking of this poem yesterday and looked this afternoon to see if anyone had done an analysis of it. Americans like myself, of course, love even shopping lists read in your beautiful accent. Nor have I ever heard someone from Britain provide commentary on an American poet. So kudos there. And your analysis is very thorough. Your visuals (line-by-line, use of color, marginal comments) add to the information being verbally presented. And you seem aware of the interpretive context of the poem itself. The sum total is an excellent and informative video. I wonder what you think of his tree at the end being a mix of black (adult / reason) and white (child / experience) branches? There is, perhaps, a movement in the poem from childhood naivete up through adulthood and into the second naivete of middle age? As for the word "love" in the poem, which is like a bell going off, I see that as encompassing the entire package of love for others, which I guess would include eros but going further than this. The struggle to be able to give and receive that is, to my mind, one of the core reasons or lessons of the human experience, presuming one isn't a materialist (and why would a materialist care a whit about poetry anyway, being, then, but the eruption of some extra emergent ions from the brain or something like that.) Anyway, many thanks.
Wow, thank you for this comment!! It made me very happy. I think all your points are freaking awesome - just wrote an essay on this poem actually and used your point about the black and white simultaneously on the final tree - thanks for that! Best wishes x
Hey! I hope you're doing well and your exams are going great. I just wanted to tell you that I'm really grateful to you for making these videos. I revised these poems for my A Levels exam from your channel and ended up getting birches. Your generosity and phenomenal analysis enabled me to attempt it better than I had expected it to go. Thank you, once again. ❤ I hope yours went well too. Which question did you do? Have a great day. x
Hi! I’m so sorry it’s taken me a million years to reply to this, but thank you for the lovely message, it really warmed my heart! That was my intention making these videos so I’m really happy it helped you. I got Mending Wall in the exam which was the poem I’d paid least attention to in revision OF COURSE hahaha. So I really had to think on the spot but I think that actually worked really well - it meant I could really shape my response to the question. Haven’t got my results yet but I’m proud of how I did. We did it wooo! :)
The format of your videos makes it some much easier to understand. Thank you so much for this!

No. No. No. Line 3: the most important words are "I like to think". @Without that you miss the entire point.
Hmm, interesting idea, that's a cool way of looking at it ;)
