Great way to get the extra detail using the dies with the stamp pad. I have done something similar before using my Tim Holtz small brayer and brayering the archival ink over the die too. I will have to experiment and try your process too…might work even better and it’s a great technique. Thanks so much for sharing! Your little journal is so pretty!

Thank you so much!! I’ve tried the Breyer technique as well, and have had mixed results. I think it works well on really juicy foam stamp pads - especially pigment based ink pads. With the felt dye ink pads, I’ve found a direct application works better. But your mileage may vary 😂 I’m loving this technique as well. I just figured out how to do this on metallic paper, so look out for a video on that coming soon!
