James love your honesty regarding selling those cows on to some one else.Id beef them and replace them with store cattle for a year until you have enough of your own replacement heifers to bring your cow numbers back up.Happy Xmas and keep posting your videos.

Strange? You had more grass than me this year. Maybe as you say something not right if they aren't cycling.
Pop down and have a look at my Stabilisers in the spring. I've 25 heifers that I'm picking my own 10 replacements from and the rest are available to anyone.

If all the tests are clear all your ground etc is fine and they are not cycling and they were all bought in from the same place then theres your answer someone sold you a bunch of problems.
The only thing you can do is put it down to experience and move on and like you say give yourselves full control by breeding your own replacements

Those cows that didn’t get pregnant look very thin for cattle you were trying to join! I reckon you are on the money with your comment that you’ve bought someone else’s crap cows. At least you know not to buy from that seller again!!
