I discuss how you build wealth, and whether getting a doctorate is going to make you rich. The direct answer is no, building wealth is not a function of the degree you get.
I investigate wealth, and question why you feel that you need to build wealth. This is a big question - why do you feel like you need to be rich?
However, if you want to build wealth and become rich, you have to invest and live a modest lifestyle for a long time. You have to balance the life that you live and live modest for your income.
Also, I discuss that degrees bring you opportunities, but it is up to you to jump on and grow those opportunities.

David Maslach is a research professor of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business strategy, I discuss topics, such as behavioral science, strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and apply these to my new peer proofreading and editing platform. Topics include the sharing economy, altruism, investing in technology, starting a business, and bounded rationality. My favorite videos pertain to incentives, goal setting, and learning from failure to drive behaviors such as weight loss, stopping telemarketers, creating novel technologies, and creating new movements.
r3ciprocity.com: Peer proofreading and editing platform
A new platform where you can earn credits by editing other people's documents. Use these credits to have your own work edited. If you do a good enough job, you can convert these credits to money.
The goal of the platform is to get people to 'pay it forward' and help other people out by creating incentives for people to give back.

Thanks so much for the candid thoughts. Much appreciated. I’m in a MS program right now and am already thinking next steps, but am not married to a program of study per se.

True. Higher education=more ethos. Which can lead to more opportunities in higher positions. Also, the best thing to do is to combine education with soft skills to maximize earning potential. I like your humble approach.
