Omg! I was looking up cold porcelain videos, and your video from six years ago came up so I watched it. I was curious if you were still making videos so I checked your channel, and you are! You are SO freaking talented! It makes me so happy to see people who stick with their passions and progress over time 🥺 Keep doing what you're doing! ❤️

Hello. It depends on what type of air dry clay you are using. I’m using resin air dry clay it doesn’t crack or lumpy but I always condition my clay before using.
Oh. Also if I’m seeing my clay is drying or hard to condition. I add a bit of water and condition it very well. I just dab the water, condition, then see if it’s good to mold or soft enough
@@YoungDymisty the brand that I used before is HTTP brand but now they’re not selling anymore. So I just use the cheapest one that I could find in Shopee. No brand
@@ClayBum can you tell the difference you feel when you use the resin clay vs when you use your homemade cold porcelain clay? Like the pros and cons between the two
Hi! I love your videos, they are inspiring me as I am about to start making my own custom dolls. I was wondering if you could help me with a doubt I have. I have an Obistu doll and head, and I want to use air dry clay to make a wig for the doll. But, I have heard that air dry clay shrinks and I'm afraid that it will shrink on the doll's head and not work. Do you think it's possible? Thank you so much!
Yes I think it’s possible but since you will use air dry clay it’s best to estimate it’s shrinking and cope with that. Adjust it to bigger size. Especially if you will use cold porcelain air dry clay which shrinks for about 20%

Both have pros and cons. They’re very different medium. As the resin is air dry clay while polymer clay needs to be baked. I can’t tell which is better. It maybe depends on your preferences. For me, I prefer resin air dry clay for making figures, as I don’t have a large oven to baked with. But when making accessories, polymer clay should be used as it is waterproof. I also preferred using polymer clay when making charms or making super tiny things. Making small things with air dry clays are very hard as it is also drying while working with it. Means you should sculpt fast.
