i don’t blame you for thinking that, ashe’s passive description is worded a little weirdly but i’ll try and explain it. in the description it says Ashe does not deal additional damage on crits (true) however when ashe has slowed a unit she deals %more damage to that slowed target, the % damage increases based off how much crit chance you have, it will only occur after the first instance of damage you deal to a target as in your first auto will not have bonus damage unless you landed w slow first. now on the occasion that you do crit, your passive slow will increase up to 60% from the usual 20-30% non crits. the crit slow value scales with levels so farming for a full crit build is hella important. i forgot to add the IE part but the guy above is correct 👍
Probably hold off from taking W level 1 if you see your support wants to do invade shenanigans. I once made a team have an afk and ff because i got a triple kill level 1 with lethal tempo and ashe Q.
w is way more useful though, q gives you an auto reset and let's say 15% more DPS for the duration, w can hit multiple targets and is great for catching up to people which is often the case in level 1 fights
@@anathemaxyz it's way more than 15% dps if you take into account lethal tempo. 25% AS level 1 Q means you get in 5 autos in the time it takes you to hit 4, plus the 20% attack speed from lethal tempo level 1 is 55% AS total. And excuse me, but 55% AS level 1 is broken AF. That's way more than berserker grieves. Just try it. Trust
you mean because you stack tempo faster? you already need 4 autos to activate q anyways, of course q is more damage single target if you have 100% uptime but that's assuming perfect conditions. also how are you going to play first two waves without your main waveclear/zoning ability? I can see q lvl 1 being an option in very niche situations, but those scenarios seem pretty rare imo, I'll keep an open mind and think about it on my next games though

I think it's worth it considering W only gives you the like 70 damage lvl 1 compared to the _many_ extra autos you'd get off compared to any other adc level 1. Besides, most champions have to int their laning ability for an invade where cc or slows count; think taking jhin W instead of Q, or missfortune E instead of Q. All you gotta do is play a little safer in lane, which is usually worth considering you may get a kill or two in a successful invade. I get that getting a slow off with W cam help you catch people, which is why it is up to you to weigh if W or Q is better. The idea is that W is better to catch if you can oneshot them with your entire team, but if you're all inning 2v2 Q is vastly better. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

It actually does improve Ashe's passive😭. The damage on her passive scales with both crit chance and crit strike damage
