Rich Audio Options Using The EQ and XP's WSA II XL Full Headphones With The WS6 Puck.

- I know some of you have been asking about the Deus II headphones and weather the WSA II-XL's are good and is the sound quality better than the other aftermarket headphones? I did this video to help answer those questions. Because of the rich audio options, I personally think they are great and while I didn't have any issue with the after market headphones, I do think these XLs are superior in that you can make these headphones sound the way you want. @xpmetaldetector
In this video I will demonstrate PWM and SQUARE audio using the Equalizer (EQ) feature of the XP Deus II with the WSA 6 Master Setup. You will actually hear the audio differences because I place a microphone in the WSA II-XL headphones. I also show you my EQ settings for my WS6 Master Setup.

XP is really taking the game to the next level with all of its offerings in the Deus 2 line, excellent machine. I have yet to buy one, but I really enjoy seeing the information about this detector it's on my current wish list.

I run my equalizer (from left to right) …. 1st two set at -12 ,, 2nd two set at +12, not too far away from your settings. I’m definitely going to purchase these WSA II XL headphones ASAP. thanks again.

As we get older our abilty to hear high frequencies drops away...this might indeed help.
I have the WSA-II headphones and have been hugely disappointed with the sound quality compared to the stock headphones. I feel like mine have some kind of defect from the factory. I will try what you are showing in this video, otherwise I'm sending them back to XP to see if there isn't something wrong with them. Always love your videos!
Sorry to hear, I have found no difference in the WS6 headphones and the WSA II headphones so you might have some defect going on there. It might be a good idea to send them back.
Great video. I see the puck stem mount is different than my really old one. Mine has a split at the top . Also mine sits low on stem and hits my hand while swinging detector. How low does yours mount?
Your hand will hit the mount and it has the potential to pop off so I would recommend a tether.
What about updating the WSAIIXL headphones when you are already on version 2 on the RC ? I am being told I need to update the headset itself but its not obvious how.
All the videos are for the WS6 which has four buttons, three of which are used in the update, but the XL only has a plus and minus button. The website has no page for the XL updates. huh? are you kidding me?
Do you need to save the equalizer settings before powering down / will they default back to factory settings if you don't? I like your Camp Fork equalizer settings
No, they stay where you left them when you power down and power back up.

Interesting did you update WS6 firmware when first got it ?
It was already updated when I got it.
As i know ws5 was little bit muffled than other ws4 . How about wsa2xl ?
I really like the WSA 2-XLs especially with the EQ. It really makes a difference.
Can you set tone breaks like the Deus 1 & 2?

Is that a global setting?
If you power off and back on the your EQ settings will be saved so yes.
