Title for video should be different. He wasn't in a capsule for 10,000 years absorbing human abilities. He's an Infinite. Him and several others have reincarnation. They die, come back to life in a new body and eventually get all of their memories and skills back from their previous lives.
It's just the coloring of the title, who got his message - he got it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Treadway died in 1985 doesn't that mean Wahlberg had to have been born after that for Treadway to pass his spirit onto him right? So the film is saying Wahlberg is 37? If so, they should of used some de-aging fx cause he looks more like 57

Yeah. I’m 40 and I caught that immediately, because I was born in 1983. They expect me to believe that Wahlberg is, at oldest (because who knows got long it takes to reincarnate), two years younger than me? Nah. He looked in his late forties early fifties.

Based on a good book The Reincarnationist Papersby D. Eric Maikranz. The dialog and tropes are a little cheesy but its a good movie to watch with the family.

Thought I was the only one. lol Highlander with maybe a bit of Wanted, Night/Daywatch, Drive Angry(it features a 'supergun' similar to the one in this) and a few other similarly-themed titles.
Not really. Other than maybe the immortal part. Highlander was all of them meeting to kill each other so 'there can be only one', and he can then live and die a normal life with infinite knowledge. This movie was one of them just trying to kill everything including himself to make it all stop.

Also, I think the "dethroner" is a bit OP, even against an infinite. But still, it's cool tho
And here's my theory: for the bullet to "download" an infinite's consciousness, the microcomputer inside HAS to be big enough. That's why the bullet also needs to be big, adding to the coolness & fear factor. But the bullet velocity is waayyy too fast for it to absorb the consciousness, *&* being a big bullet, it'll do way too much damage before the downloading begins
This is my opinion, so take it with a salt shaker's worth of salt
I think it just sucks it up and then downloads it while inside the bullet or smth

If you actually could remember all your lives before, you would not be doing criminal activity for wealth and power acquisition... you'd be mastering and perfecting your mind to liberate yourself from such base trappings that were the cause of your misery in the first place. It is good to scratch an itch (getting rich etc), it is better not to have the itch (liberation from the slavish addiction to that notion of material wealth). You could in theory master a way of life where you were completely free of dependency on man made faux currencies and man made agreements of "power". thus becoming a totally unbendable socially/economically free individual. Unless you were a moron and never grew out of the tradition thought pattern of wealth and power accumulation as the end all be all answer to your miseries from life to life.

I liked this movie but the years they picked are weird. So he died in 1985 and was reincarnated into someone born in 1971? Same with the bad guy, he was born in 1977, so before the 1985 version of him died too. So why have it set in 2020? Why not 2034 so their ages could make sense?
And if his goal is to not be reborn why kill everything? Why just put himself in a chip?
And where does a person stay in a capsule for 10k yrs 😂😂 u may as well have said this is a clip about infinite

The katana is so, SO cringey for a 2021 movie.
"And that is how this AWESOME movie comes to an end". A line delivered in the way that only an impressionable fifteen year old could find compelling for what is clearly a Highlander knock-off.
It is indeed a good movie. But I'm kind of tired of all of this live for eternity stuff - bad guys want to unleash Satan on Earth to achieve eternal "life" and the good guys want to enhance life / medicine so we can live much longer, and the Near Death Experience people keep talking about how our souls are eternal, and life on Earth is just a brief interlude.
If life is just a brief interlude, which I see as a university course, or a movie, why is everyone in such a hurry to get back to eternal soul "living"... why not just relish the experience since this was a choice made by the soul anyway. So many inconsistencies in human thinking, it's frightening.
Anyhow, next life, I will make the right choices from the beginning. If I decide I even want to come back. O.O
