Apply moisturizer then retinol then moisturizer. Make sure you are using sunscreen daily and ye hotha hay retinol use kartay waqt wait for few months it will get away
I think clear cream might be too harsh for you as a beginner. Start with low percentage retinols or granactive retinoid and incorporate them slowly by stating once a week and gradually increasing the use as your skin adjusts to it.
maybe its too early for you to start retinol or winters me ziada skin dry hojati hai, its not that compulsory you can opt for Retynal palmitate ye buhat mild form hai retinoids ki Agartha beauty brand has emulsion of this

Combination skin types can actually use most of the products that are for oily skin types unless specified by the product
