We legit had no idea about this Idol Star Athletics Championships!! I wanna watch all of them!!! We got so hyped cheering for the boys!! 😤💜💪🏼

Suga made a song called first love that was about his piano if you have not checked it out it is one of my favorites. Also Introduction to BTS 2021 has alot more info on each member like Suga playing piano etc you might want to check thar out.
They missed taetae's legendary 3sec wrestling match in Isaac.
Taetae has acrophobia that's why it was difficult for him to jump.

Thinking about that time at ISAC 2015 when NO ONE WAS PAYING ATTENTION TO BTS, they weren't mentioned throughout the race even though they had been in 2nd place until Jungkook just flew past the other racers, he became 1st and suddenly got everyone shocked.
That race will forever represent BTS' career for me. The exact representation of how BTS made it. The story of BTS' rise in a nutshell. They were literally the rookie monster during their time but kmedia hid it. They didn't come out of nowhere - they were just UNDERRATED back then and people just weren't paying attention. It is sad when BTS started outselling some biggest names only then everyone started paying attention to them. They never saw BTS coming and now LOOK AT THEM, RULING THE WHOLE KPOP INDUSTRY.
Yes in korea BTS were underestimated before its good RM was a good And fighter to all those haters, leading his members to be strong to keep going no matter what, RM was the man i love him he's powerful. Trust is earned and Respect begets RESPECT. Fighting BTS.merry Christmas to all.

THIS was the point of the Idol Championship clip in this episode. I don't think new Armys nor most people (casual fans) who watch get this though. Personally, I don't think this series is for new fans... a lot of background stories or explanations needed.
Fun fact: the sports announcers during idol games were in complete shock with BTS winning the race. They were placing their bets on the other teams and were completely bewildered by Jungkook's moment.

Yeah I notice that too. Even when Jimin start so good in d beginning, they didnt even mention it. They are focus commenting on more popular group, so when JK was run like a bullet, they were so surprised 🤣
They basically became unstoppable at the men’s relay after that. The last relay they joined instead of sticking to their usual lineup they had the other members join to have fun☺️
They had no idea how competitive and driven Jungkook can be! And also how well the entire group works together! Their handoffs were the cleanest and each member kept the entire team up there with their segments. Other teams couldn’t hand off properly and even stumbled at times. It’s a metaphor of why they do well as a group they know how to work together and each person pulls their weight then of course Jungkook’s drive pushes them over that finish line. 💜💜💜

There’s a lot that goes unexplained in the background of this ep. The ISAK show was AMAZING. You should watch a video of it bc the commentators completely ignore BTS the whole first part. When BTS comes out in front they don’t even know who they are. Their jaws literally drop open when BTS takes the lead and wins and it’s a major upset lol. It represents their whole story for me. Also, Suga didn’t do that show bc he was having a panic attack. He wrote ARMY a long letter later explaining and apologizing. HAPPY HOLIDAYS BTW!

The whole point of this Chapter being entitled "Friends" is about the relationship of the members with each other. In the beginning they showed how other groups tend to become hateful towards each other/their group or lose their sense of comradery after debut. You can see one of the girls even feel useless or envious because only some of the members are gaining screen time even though there are nine of them. IF you compare their interviews with that of BTS, the girls were complaining and frustrated whereas with BTS they were saying stuff like they want to spend more time with each other and how thankful they are. The ISAC clips just shows how genuinely supportive the BTS members are towards each other, it perfectly depicts their synergy as a TEAM. This chapter explains why BTS is different from other groups because they treat each other as friends and at some point even as family that is why they stay strong even against hard times. Just like what the chinese guy (Ex EXO member) said, to be successful as a group, each person should not hold jealousy or envy towards any member whenever they get more attention because they are a TEAM. And BTS is the no. 1 perfect example of that.

Aneesa really did a wonderful job showing the contrast of BTS attitude and how other KPOP groups were.
Suga's been playing piano for years. He actually has a song called 'First Love' dedicated to the piano being his first love (and his gateway to music).
the fact that he learned to play it on his own when he was a kid because of course his parents couldn't offer him piano lessons it's just crazy, he's really a genius.
you know what sad on that isaac clip that you watch ...bangtan is always on the second spot from start to 3rd run but no one from the mc even mention them...they only mention bts when jungkook take the lead...its still hurt to watch but so proud in the end...this is one of the clips army refering how bangtan take the music industry....no one see them coming....they just nailed it

I think what this video also brings is that in the kpop field, not all of team members in some groups are really friends and care about each other off camera and how the real friendship of the boys really made a difference in their music and conduct as human beings.
The intro for those who are confused, it's to show how in some groups people are left it out or the other members don't care enough to go back and see if the person it's ok, and how with BTS is different they never do that!! They really care and love each other!!

Please pause when you have something to say. You miss out on important parts of the video. This chapter shows how rare BTS bond / friendship vs kpop groups. Also Yoongi has a song dedicated to his love of the piano, it is a part of his artistry.
Their attention spans are entirely too short for long videos like this and I agree they talk over the video so much and don’t pay attention
Jungkook is the faster Thas why he is always the last one
None of the girls that were running at the time stopped to check up on her and they just kept running - only her team mates behind her who were standing at the time ran up to check on her. He was extremely upset that these girls were calling themselves a team of 101 yet when someone fell they took the advantage to get ahead instead of helping the girl who fell. The sport in the first place was a relay race, trying to distill a team mentality on the show, but the girls were repeatedly shown to all be self- centered. Those girls that just ran past her seriously needed that wake up call and I admire the guy, Tao, for giving it to them. I honestly agree with Tao, he was mad and the next day he said sorry to them for getting mad, but to be honest they needed that. That whole scene is to highlight why so many groups fall apart - despite being a "team" they still have the mentality of being in competition with each other because that's how they get those spots on the group in the first place. This is especially seen in SM, YG, and JYP since so many people try out in those companies since they are basically guaranteed success. Also most companies and managers actively encourage competition between members, treating the more popular members better, making it hard to break out of that cycle. BTS never saw competition in one another, even at the very beginning when they were trainees, and that is key to how they have managed to stay together for so long.
Bye because seeing ISAC only made me miss when idols used to interact with one another. BTS & EXO, GOTBangtan, BTS & Red Velvet all of these moments were to die for. I hate how conservative everything has gotten

Jimin was in first place at the start. The other participants were behind Jimin. Then when they started running, Jimin was actually already raced by other participants so it continued to V and Jhope. Lucky, JK has extraordinary running speed. And JK has always won this relay race for 3 years in a row.
Actually you can see at the end of the lap jimin was 2nd but it was close. The first lap in 4x4 relay is a staggered start so since he was in the outer lane he starts ahead of the others so you can't tell til the last straight who is in what place. You can see at the hand off to V, the other team did their hand off first
Ya & i love how this episode specially shows how much team work is really important..there would hv been no BTS we see today without all 7 members..7 extremely hard-working boys.. together with each other's strong support & love, learning from each other throughout their journey, reaching where they are now..a beautiful, unbreakable friendship & brotherly bond between these 7 amazing individuals is something we Armys could never really understand fully from outside, cuz it would be there between them for lifetime no matter how old they get✨ nobody..NOBODY could break them apart..and that's what makes BTS more special 🥰💜

@5:15 , to clear up your confusion: The former member of EXO wanted the girls to have some sort of empathy with the injured girl bc overall it's these girls that possibly could be in the same group, and the solid foundation of a long-lasting group is the connection between the members themselves. This relates to BTS as they've made it clear many times that without the bond they share, they wouldn't be where they are now. Yes, competition brings out the best and worst in people, but to be "fit" for a group like that, there are some instances that should never be put above another. I personally think, placing myself in the shoes of someone who has had the same experiences, Tao's (former EXO member) reaction was justified.
I don't really see a lot of comments mentioning this except one but during that concert in Kobe it was later known that suga was unable to perform because he had a panic attack and locked himself in the bathroom during the concert. He wrote a letter to army on twitter explaining his feelings and you can easily find it. Suga also mentions this incident in his song "the last." I wish you guys would pause the video more often to address your thoughts or when you're casually talking to one another. You tend to get distracted very easily with things around you and miss the subtitles. This episode is entirely focused on friendships.
BTS in the beginning obviously did not get along with each other and often fought. It wasn't easy for seven different boys with different personalities to be shoved into a tiny room and expect to get along with one another. That goes for anyone. Suga mentioned how it felt nearly impossible to live with the other members in their early pre-debut/debut days. The difference between bts and other idol groups (not all) is that they noticed how in order to improve as a group and get better, they need to be able to get along and have respect. Bts put in the effort to overcome their struggles, they made sure to recognize other member's insecurities and helped build them up as a person, they never wanted to gain more fame than the others, they remained grounded and kept their main goal in mind till this very day. Many celebrities and idols who do not have that mindset of working as a team are bound to fail one way or another. It takes a lot of strength, perseverance, and persistence to create a strong relationship with your friends and the people who surround you on the daily. They managed to perfect it and it's admirable and envy worthy. Clearly shows how much they value their work as a group and nothing else.

When u said people only see the result..I agree and I totally felt tht for them..some people had audacity to say tht they got what they have now like an overnight sensation n success when it literally take years of efforts and a lot of sacrifice tht people chose not to see.

Many groups have separated due to not having good results in the charts, the agencies stop investing money because they no longer see them profitable and prefer to create new groups.
The way that the ISAC is such a small piece of this episode and you focused so much on that lol
But, yeah, anyways ISAC was cool, BTS stopped going when their schedule got too full but it was nice to see them interacting with other idols and winning in some many sports, especially JK in the wrestling thing!!

@@himaririku5289 There’s basically a rule in ISAC for the fans attending that they can get banned for recording because it will be broadcasted at a later date, but Bangtan was also there with their phones recording and ARMYs joked “oh no! BTS will get banned!” and when they didnt attend at future ISACs ARMYs continued the joke that it was because they really got banned (but they didnt, they just stopped attending).

I can see why this is called 'friends'. The beginning was a stark contrast between groups, the first was in it for themselves and wanting to leave, can't wait to leave.. and then BTS are just the opposite..friends/brothers, humble and in it forever.
BTS on ISAC was epic specially on Mens relay division, they had three consecutive gold medals and one silver medal from 2015-2017. Tae, JK and Jin also compete on the korean wrestling division. They also played archery. Suga played basketball while RM and Jin joined futsal team.
There's a bangtan bomb of yoongi playing basketball at idol and jimin cheering him on!
Weverse just announced that RM Jin and Yoongi have positive confirmation for COVID,😭😭 RM(about RM case there is no such thing) and Jin (in Jin case he is feeling like flu have fever too , Jin is in mid symptoms) and with Yoongi(in Suga case he feels like cold but he is okay)i hope they will get soon 💜💜pray for them every one

This episode goes to show that not all kpop groups are not all sunshine and good friendships. I know some kpop groups who are not even happy with each other. Yes, BTS do have their downs with each other (you’ll see that in Burn the Stage) but their friendship, their brotherhood is what makes them a strong group, a strong team.

This really makes me understand why they hold on to each other so tight. Why they hug each other. Why they hold each others hands. Why they support each other. They helped each other mentally get through their day to day. Because they didn't have anyone else who would. No parents are there to care for them. They only had each other.

Did anyone else cry? I know a few did. This video brought me to tears. Because right from the start they were a team and showed that to everybody. No matter the hardships they went through, they showed everybody how strong they were together. BTS deserve ever ounce of support and love they get. Ik a lot of kpop groups are like them as well but bts found me in my dark times and I couldn't be happier. I love these seven men with all my heart and I will support them no matter what. In a future episode of this series around 2016-2017, the creator-who’s a multi Kpop stan- doesn’t mention all the hate and sabotage BTS got from other fandoms-especially EXO’s-like Broken Wing Project during their WINGS era and the plagiarism boys hashtags fandoms trolled during their first Dome concert, which the boys were so happy and proud about. BTS was really affected and saddened by the onslaught of hate. But ARMY came through and tried to drown out the negativity with an onslaught of positive hashtags. It’s a big reason why BTS won their first social artist award at Billboard. And it’s what started the saying “Karma’s an ARMY.”

ok wow I had to stop watching to comment..........Intro House of Cards is a BTS song, my favorite BTS song of all time lol (the one you thought might be a new intro for Rise of Bangtan)!! I've been trying to get you guys to watch it since forever ago....there's a live version with English lyrics and it's a vocal line only song...they sing it with such passion(ps MIchelle would really enjoy the live with lyrics too). Tao (the screaming guy) was a Chinese member of Exo and ended up leaving like the rest (Kris, Luhan, Lay) because SM treated it's non Korean idols like crap. Don't know if they still do, but it wouldn't surprise me. In Zitao's case, he was the primary member who did stunts and acrobatics for the group because of his martial arts background. Because of that, he would get injured more often. SM did not place a lot of effort into safety precautions and his recovery once he was injured. The results being that his injuries wouldn't get to heal properly and/or would be compounded. The Exo-M members (all the Chinese members and 2 Korean) had to rely heavily on each other as a result. He had to sue to get out of the group and his contract. That is why he had such an extreme reaction to everyone just ignoring the injured girl.

This is a little late but i just wanted to let you guys know the guy that was scolding the girls for not helping their friend when she fell is former EXO member Tao. He's chinese and was a mentor on this chinese survival program. Honestly his story is really heartbreaking. He was completly exploited by SM Entertainment. They workied him so hard, to the point where he took physical damage from it that still affects him to this day. He eventually left EXO due to his father begging the company to cancel their contract with him because everytime he would go home to visit his family, he would return with new injuries that the company didn't even provide medical care for. It's really sad but he is now working as a soloist and actor in China who also has his own company now.

When you speak over it, or watch other things and not what the editor was trying to present, you'll miss the whole point of the episode. At the ISAC, when Jin entertained the crowd, he was only addressing the section where ARMYs sat (only a small section). So, the singing only came from ARMYs, not the whole crowd in the stadium. In 2015, despite all their charts topping/winning, BTS was still outcasted by the rest of the kpop community.

The boys dominated ISAC relay for years (3or4) and then some "rule" was violated by BTS that stopped them from wanting to participate. But the guys rented out the whole stadium where ISAC is filmed to record episode 100(?) of Run BTS it was such a FLEX.😁
