did this one a few years ago on mine. only bar you can find that doesnt really intrude into the trunk space. i mean if you put the carpet and rubber mat back in if you have it, it maybe raises up where the bar is an 1/8". imo it does help with the cars rigidity. if you were to go further on your install, take your knife, and cut all the way across where the front edge of the bar is on the foam, and cut all the way down and around to make the foam 2 pieces. it will go back in, and sit perfect, but you can pull the rear 3/4 of the foam so you can get to the spare without taking out the bar.
Clean install dude! Love that you didn’t have to sacrifice any trunk space for it. I think the Cusco X brace is cool too but I think it’ll block off too much access to the trunk from the backseats.
easy with the beatrush. when installed you have to trim the foam piece, and on mine i gave it a cut right along the line under the bar , and its easy to then pull back 3/4 of the piece out which gives good access to the spare.
Facts. but for the most part I am only looking for the performance and the uninterrupted trunk space lol! I appreciate you taking to time to holla at me big dawg!

how often are you accessing the trunk from the back seats? in the 52 mo I've had my wrx, I've never accessed the trunk from the back seats.

considering Cusco rear bar but Perrin's new rear (round) bar is also low profile but still sits above the carpet
