Rubik's cubes are actually evolving. Even though they are far behind in speedcubes I think they will catch up someday.
I think we will soon reach a level where cubes mechanisms cannot be improved much longer, I'd guess about 10 years.
@@SamiChenFilm who knows we may find different materials which may help greatly to improve the mechanism of cubes .
@@anshshah5824 Eventually the only limitations will be the fact that human hands don't respond well to rapidly moving objects
@@limecyanizer4394 Agreed, so the new materials don't have to be specifically faster. We would just have to reach a point where tech would be sp advanced that you could change the feeling of the cube exactly how you like it and by feeling I mean not only lubes and tensioning but also the feel of the cube. Of course all of this will be expensive but still possible.

Not gonna lie. I really liked the revolution when it came out. Im getting back into cubing i was in worlds in 2005 but put it down in 2009. I averaged in teens back then. Im getting my averages down after a decade. Almost back to 30 just warming up.
